SLAYER: Jimmy Kimmel Live!
The most evil band in history, Slayer, will be spreading a little hate on national television tonight! Slayer will be the musical guest on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live". The show airs at 12:05 AM Eastern & Pacific Time and 11:05 PM Central Time.
The mighty Slayer will be performing "World Painted Blood", which is the titled track of their latest album. Additionaly, the band will perform "Hate Worldwide" over the show's closing credits.
This special performance will mark the return of singer Tom Araya, who had to go under knife, due to some major back problems caused by years of headbanging. This will be the second time that Slayer performs live on "Jimmy Kimmel Live".
Tune in tonight to see Slayer destroy TV sets nationwide! Hail satan! \m/

NEW SICK OF IT ALL BABY!!!
We often focus on the negative aspects of life, such as the death of our favorite artists. Today, we want to celebrate life and congratulate Lou Koller (Sick Of It All) and his wife, for the birth of their baby girl! HORNS UP to the entire Koller family!
Make sure you don't miss the Sick Of It All CD Release show, June 11th at The Gramercy (Blender Theater)! We spoke with Lou about this show and he said that the band will pick lots of classic tunes and combine them with some of their killer new songs. The record is titled "Based on a True Story", because as I told Lou, Sick Of It All is the True New York Hard Core Story, which was inspired by Agnostic Front.

Tribute to RONNIE JAMES DIO!
One thing I find amazing is how all of us METALEROS have the outmost respect for the TRUE legends of rock! And even if we are not necessarily fans of a certain artist, we all come together when one of our METAL legends joins the afterlife. Legends such as Ronnie James Dio, Peter Steele, Dimebag Darrell, Randy Rhoads, Cliff Burton and many more. Yesterday, many of the Horns Up throwers posted some amazing videos of many of Ronnie James Dio's classic songs. Here is a compilation of some of those videos:

RONNIE JAMES DIO (July 10, 1942 - May 16, 2010)
Today is a very sad day in Rock N Roll. Legendary singer Ronnie James Dio has passed away, after battling with stomach cancer. Ronnie will always be remembered as the singer of legendary bands such as: Dio, Black Sabbath (Heaven & hell) and Rainbow. He is also credited as the creator of the "devil horns" that all rockers and fans throw on a daily basis when something rocks!
His wife and manager Wendy Dio made the following statement to Blabbermouth:
"Today my heart is broken, Ronnie passed away at 7:45 a.m. [on Sunday] 16th May. Many, many friends and family were able to say their private goodbyes before he peacefully passed away.
Ronnie knew how much he was loved by all.
We so appreciate the love and support that you have all given us.
Please give us a few days of privacy to deal with this terrible loss.
Please know he loved you all and his music will live on forever."
Here is one of the last interviews Ronnie James Dio ever did, it took place at the Revolver Golden God Awards this past April where he received the Liquid Metal "Best Vocalist Award."
Here is Ronnie James Dio, receiving the award:
