This weekend we headed over to "Jugs-N-Strokers" in Merrick Long Island, for "The When- I Awareness Rock Show". The event featured live music by The Penguin Revolution, The Resurrection Sorrow and Sex Slaves. It also featured some amazing raffles, plenty of food and a DJ set by Jo Schuftan of Horns Up Rocks (who volunteered to DJ in order to help the cause). The crowd was a mix of bikers (Jugs-N-Strokers is a biker bar), young adults and even some oldies. Everyone there was in high spirits and very generous when it came to donating money for this great cause. We were very honored and proud to have been part of such a successful event. And let it be known that Horns Up Rocks is here to help the Rock N Roll community in good times and bad times.
