Bobby Hambel = Biohazard's Legend

When Bobby Hambel and Evan Seinfeld formed Biohazard in 1987, their goal was to mix the urban feel of New York Hardcore Punk and Hip Hop, with Heavy Metal music. This is how their signature sound (which has been replicated by many) became alive.

In late 2005, the band took an extended break after they decided it was time to focus on other projects. Once they resurfaced in January of 2008, Biohazard's plan was to join forces for a reunion tour. With this in mind, the band embarked on a worldwide tour in celebration of their 20th anniversary.

Once on tour, the band realized that the reunion tour had become the comeback everyone was waiting for. With the original lineup consisting of: Evan Seinfeld (Vocals/Bass), Billy Graziadei and Bobby Hambel (Guitar/Vocals), and Danny Schuler (Drums), the band re-found their sonical tightness and realized that the years they were apart, made the band a lot stronger. This is when why they decided to record a new album, which they plan to release this spring!

After seeing the band destroy New York City! We hunted Bobby down, to talk to him about the past, the present, and the future of Biohazard! We also have exclusive live videos from the bands last performance, before the release of their long awaited comeback album!

Interesting fact about Biohazard: Peter Steele (RIP) from Type O Negative and Carnivore, named the band. According to Evan Seinfeld, Steele told him to take the name for his band, or he would have to rename Carnivore.

BIOHAZARD - LOSS (Dedicated to Peter Steele). Here you can hear Evan Seinfeld telling the story about Peter naming the band!
