Megadeth Perform at the Big Four Despite Dave Mustaine's Neck Injury!

When it comes to Heavy Metal there are very few guys that keep burning the Metallic torch through thick and thin! Dave Mustaine, who turned 50 yesterday, proved today at the Big Four at Yankee Stadium why millions of fans worldwide would take a bullet for him.

On Monday afternoon, Megadeth faced the arduous task of either canceling their performance tonight at the Big Four or risking the health of their front-man, who apparently fell down and hurt his neck. After being transported to the hospital and diagnosed with a severe neck injury, for which he needs surgery, Mustaine decided to perform today regardless of his condition.

While some say Mustaine is getting rusty, the crowd today at the Big Four at Yankee Stadium completely disagree!

  1. Now that is the mark of a true artist. Sacrificing everything to please the fans is why Dave Mustaine and Megadeth have endured. Now that the show is over, hopefully Dave will get the medical attention he needs and will make a full recovery.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Mustaine 5 weeks ago. He is a true genuine christian man. Very sincere. Megadeth is far from rusty! They rock out and their lyrics are very prophetic. I am looking forward to their new album and know that God will bless Mr. Mustaine with a speedy recovery!

I also had the pleasure of meeting the band about 5 weeks ago. Very true caring christian men. I know that God will bless Mr. Mustaine with a speedy recovery.
I disagree with the comments of Mr. Mustaine is getting "rusty". He is FAR from rusty. He is just getting started! He is "Dangerous Dave" and that's in a good way!
