Metallica Hits a Grand Slam at the Big Four Concert at Yankee Stadium!

Yesterday night Metallica hit a Grand Slam thanks to their flawless and stellar performance at Yankee Stadium. For over two hours the Kings Of Metal kept the 41,000+ attendees on their feet and full of goosebumps. The band dedicated their entire set to former bassist Cliff Burton, who died 25 years ago.

While many Heavy Metal fans gave up on Metallica years ago due to various reasons, taking away any credit from Metallica is a crime. Why? Well, without Metallica last night would have never happened! That ladies and gentleman was the biggest Heavy Metal show in the history of Heavy Music when it comes to the East Coast of the United States. Whoever questions that Metallica has plenty of fire left for years to come, is in the wrong. Not only musically has Metallica changed Heavy Music forever thanks to their musical craft, but they have also managed to unite the fans like no band in the world can do!

Everyone who was present last night at Yankee stadium knows that it was a night for the history books and it was all possible thanks to Metallica, and of course all the fans who showed up to throw their horns up, head-bang, and moshpit!

Highlights: Orion, Nothing Else Matters, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Seek and Destroy, Motörhead's Overkill with members of Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax. Also the amazing light show, the pyro show, and the laser show!
