Behemoth Destroys the Citizens of Katowice & Wroclaw!

This past weekend, the citizens of the Polish cities of Katowice and Wroclaw, welcomed extreme blackened Death Metal meisters Behemoth with their Horns Up!

The band expected it would take some time to return to form, but so far, they are ahead of schedule. As we all know, Behemoth had to take a forced musical break when Adam MichaƂ Darski (A.K.A. Nergal) was diagnosed with Leukemia in August of 2010. Here is an update from Nergal after the bands first few performances since he was able to rejoin the musical spectrum.

"Things are going better than expected. I was really thinking it’d take more time for us to adjust to live circumstances after such a long break. Surprisingly, we are catching up real fast. Shows in Katowice and Wroclaw belong to the best ones we’ve ever played in Poland! Both venues we completely sold out. I already can’t wait next round this coming weekend. Warsaw, be warned!"

Behemoth has one show left on their "Phoenix Rising" tour in Poland. The show is October 21st in Warsaw, Poland. Many more tour dates are being booked in addition to the "Full Of Hate" tour with Cannibal Corpse across continental Europe February-March 2012.

In other Behemoth news; the new music video for the track 'Lucifer' off the bands 2009 release "Evangelion" was recently presented to the masses. The video was shot in Wroclaw, Poland and stars the song's guest vocalist, Maciej Malenczuk.

Back in print and newly repackaged, "Demonica" chronicles the earliest recordings of Polish blackened Death Metal legends Behemoth! "Demonica" will include two booklets; a 28 page booklet and a 16 page booklet with rare photos and lyrics that were not included with the original release. Here is an mp3 for the track 'Summoning of the Ancient Gods' off the upcoming reissue.
