Anthrax Announce Plans For 2012 North American Tour!

Anthrax just finalized their 2011 North American tour with Testament and Death Angel, and many are dubbing it as the tour package of the year thanks to the ferocity displayed by all three bands! Additionally, various members of the media are calling Anthrax's 10th studio album "Worship Music" the album of the year... and unless something amazing comes out within the next month and a half in the music world, we think Anthrax deserves this title bout.

"We start in the U.S. again third week of January. Dates coming soon! Stay tune my friends", commented Anthrax's founder and guitarist Scott Ian via his Twitter account.

"Worship Music", sold 28,000 copies in the U.S. in its first week of release to land at position No. 12 on The Billboard 200 chart. The band's previous studio CD, 2003's "We've Come For You All", opened with just under 10,000 units to debut at No. 122.

2011 has been a great year for Anthrax, and it seems like the momentum will carry on in 2012.
