Prong Enters Studio To Record NEW Album!
Fresh from inking with SPV/Long Branch Records, Metal innovators Prong have entered the studio with producer Steve Evetts. Evetts' recent work includes the likes of Dillinger Escape Plan and Suicide Silence.
"He understands Prong in a way no other producer we've ever worked with has," says Prong guitarist, vocalist and mainstay Tommy Victor on the choice of producer. "We have a lot of history and have always evolved as a band. The goal for all of us was to take all of that and make a definitive Prong album," Victor continues.
In the meantime, Prong has been featured in Decibel magazine Thrash Metal Hall of Fame special issue in an article detailing the making of 1990's benchmark album "Beg To Differ". Spin Magazine best summed up that era of Prong's evolution as "crafted in an alternative universe where Alain Jourgensen - not Dave Mustaine - is the incorrigible charter member of a pre-Metallica world."
