Revocation Discusses Musical Process, Touring & Upcoming Plans!

For many years, the Massachusetts Heavy Music scene has been delivering plenty of musical goods to the headbangers of the world. What has set this scene apart since day one, is that the scene was built around the people and not a particular sound. Thanks to the sense of unity that surrounds this scene, there have been a slew of really good bands that have succeeded, which ultimately has made the scene as strong as a bull and has kept it on a constant rise.

A band that has been working very hard on their musical craft is Revocation. Formed in 2006, after childhood friends and jam mates David Davidson (vocals/guitars) and Anthony Buda (bass/vocals) decided to take their musical creations into a higher level of professionalism in order to become another hard hitting band within the Massachusetts Heavy Music scene, Revocation possesses all the right ingredients:

- Highly technical musical parts, which find the band venturing into uncommon scales, notes, dynamics and rhythms.

- A crushing blend of Death and Thrash Metal.

- Great stage presence and attitude.

- A signature sound!

During their recent show at B.B. Kings in New York City with the mighty Chimaira, we had the chance to chat with both David Davidson (vocals/guitars) and Anthony Buda (bass/vocals) about the bands musical process, life on the road, and their plans for 2012. This is what went down!
