A Thanksgiving METAL Feast!
Before you head over to spend Thanksgiving Day with your families, come give thanks to Metal at the "Thanksgiving METAL Feast"! The event will take place on Friday, September 18th at the legendary Webster Hall (The Studio) and will feature 4 hard hitting bands that will be the perfect soundtrack to THE party to be at before Thanksgiving Day!
Lineup:
Resolution 15: A band whose sound is rooted in Thrash, Metal, Hardcore, Punk, and Classical Music that uses violins in place of guitars to disseminate their egalitarian message of global change.
- Wrench: Originally formed in the early 90's, founding members John Musto (Guitar)and Case (Bass) searched for a new sound in Heavy Music and found it when John put down his guitar and picked up a bass in an attempted to create the heaviest sound imaginable.
- Nostrom: An Industrial Heavy Metal band from Colombia, based in Queens NY. Formed in 2005, after analyzing the flood of generic music that exists within the tri-state area, Nostrom decided to go against the grain and create a blend of music that attracts your ears and then punches them without remorse.
- Iratetion: Being driven towards creating their own music, the Milano brothers did just that. Ismael and Ghork started writing for a project that didn't have a name at the time. While one brother was living in Venezuela and the other in New Jersey, the desire of writing became reality. They began to create music in a way many musicians do these days with the help of sending files to each other over the inter...net. Ismael handled duties of guitars/bass/vocals so they could be layered over Ghork's drum recordings that were sent from Venezuela. Not long afterward, the project was soon to be named Iratetion.
Hosted by Jo Schüftan from Horns Up Rocks!
