Texas rockers At The Drive In, announced earlier today via Twitter that they are ready to break the silence after 11 years apart.
At the Drive In called it a day in 2001 when their frontman Cedric Bixler-Zavala felt that the band was holding him back creatively. Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodriguez-Lopez would eventually form The Mars Volta, while the remaining members of At The Drive In formed Sparta. Bassist Paul Hinojos, who co-founded Sparta, left that group to join The Mars Volta between 2005 and 2009.
Stay tuned for more information regarding the reunion of At The Drive In!
