The members of Slipknot have always been known for pushing their creative envelopes to the limit via original, uncompromised, and very honest artistic works! When we heard that vocalist Corey Taylor (Slipknot/Stone Sour) and percussionist Shawn Crahan (Slipknot) were forming a film production company we knew that were not going to be producing Hollywood style films. You may be familiar with Slipknot's filmography, and if not here is a rundown:

- We Sold Our Souls for Rock 'n Roll (Documentary, released in 2001)
- 'Disasterpieces' (Music video, released in 2002)
- 'Voliminal: Inside the Nine' (Video documentary, released in 2006)

Next Saturday, January 21, Taylor and Crahan, along with Sanctuary5B Artist Management, will hold a press conference, launch party and rare acoustic performance for attending media, festival-goers and select fans at The Carhartt Backcountry Club (Treasure Mountain Inn in Park City, Utah) to discuss the exciting film projects heading for production this year.

The collaboration between Taylor and Crahan, is called 'Living Breathing Films' and they have announced that they will be attending the Sundance Film Festival to announce upcoming projects. Here is what they had to say about this:

"We're heading to Sundance to connect with the industry since we're now actively looking for TV and film submissions," Shawn states. The company's first film is already in development with Corey and Shawn, both of whom are giving input to the script. Taylor promises, "It'll be very psychological. It's a study in 'Did my eyes see what I think they saw?' It's definitely going to stir the pot and get the world talking. Those are the best movies."

"We've done it before — we're equipped to do it again," Crahan says. "Sit back and enjoy the next level of our art and vision."
