DEFTONES In The Midst Of Tracking SMOKING NEW Album - Images Available!

The as of yet entitled NEW DEFTONES album will the follow up to the critically acclaimed 'Diamond Eyes', released on May 4, 2010. 'Diamond Eyes' sold 62,000 copies in the US in its first week and debuted at the Number 6 position on The Billboard 200 chart. 'Diamond Eyes' was the deftones first album, since their bassist Chi Cheng had a horrific car accident on November 4, 2008. The accident left him in a comatose state. Sergio Vega recorded 'Diamond Eyes', toured with the band, and is back in the studio to record the bands seventh studio album.

As previously reported, the DEFTONES and SYSTEM OF A DOWN will be joining forces on what will be a series of live shows, that promise to be loud and dangerous! Here is the confirmed list of tour dates:
