METALLICA Releases "So What!": 30th Anniversary Edition Magazine!


Special commemorative issue of Metallica’s exclusive fan club magazine, “So What!”, detailing the historic 30th anniversary shows at the Fillmore in San Francisco on December 5, 7, 9, and 10, 2011. This epic 132 page double issue is packed with exclusive photos and post-Fillmore interviews. Includes handwritten introductions and interviews by each Metallica band member, as well as special guests that shared the stage including King Diamond (Mercyful Fate), Rob Halford (Judas Priest), Dave Mustaine (Megadeth) and more. You’ll also find recaps of each one of the four shows, plus a look behind the scenes at how it all came together. As an added bonus, an exclusive 7" vinyl single featuring live recordings of "So What" and "Through The Never" from the Fillmore is included with each issue. All included in a in a special 30th Anniversary envelope!



METALLICA have 7 more European dates before their two day festival: "Orion Music + More", which is scheduled for June 23-24 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. They are also in talks with Rick Rubin to produce their tenth studio album at some point this year.

In a historical twist of events, METALLICA will be performing six back-to-back shows in Mexico City show after their five previous shows sold out in a matter of minutes! Heavy Metal's biggest band, will be performing at the Sports Palace in Mexico City on August 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, and 9. Additionally, the band will be unveiling their NEW stage: a 140x50-foot stage that features colossal components and striking visual elements spanning Metallica's 30-year career.
