Andrew WK Named Cultural Ambassador To The Middle East By U.S. Dept Of State?

Apparently, the King Of Party Andrew WK has been “officially” named the Cultural Ambassador to the Middle East by the US Department Of State according to the singer’s own website. Here is his statement:

"This is a tremendous invitation. I’m very thankful to the Department of State for giving me the opportunity to visit a place I’ve never been before. And I feel very privileged and humbled by the chance to represent the United States of America and show the good people of Bahrain the power of positive partying. I can hardly wait for this adventure!"

Andrew W.K. recently released his video for "It's Time To Party" (watch it HERE). Currently residing in New York, NY, the party icon released his latest single off of the 'I GET WET' 10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition, which includes a second disc filled with alternate and live version of Andrew’s original party classics.
          
Andrew W.K. is best known for his hit single “Party Hard” back in 2001. The song was featured as the lead track in EA Sports in Madden 2003. His other songs, such as “Fun Night” and “She Is Beautiful” were featured in movies such as Old School, Freaky Friday, American Pie, Band Camp, and Out Cold. Andrew W.K. has made multiple appearances on television programs such as MTV, MTV2, VH1, Fox News, and Cartoon Network.
