DAVE GROHL Won't Be Touring With QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE!
Recently, the FOO FIGHTERS announced a hiatus after 18 years of rocking the entire world. HERE is a statement posted by the bands frontman Dave Grohl.
So what is in the Grohl agenda for the rest of this year and in 2013?
Well, Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme revealed to Zane Lowe on his BBC Radio 1 show that Grohl will be drumming for the band on their NEW album! However, Grohl has announced via this interview that he will not be touring with the band. So why will Grohl not be touring with the band? Grohl drummed on Queens’ 2002 'Songs For The Deaf' and performed alongside Homme and Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones in Them Crooked Vultures. Queens Of The Stone Age play Download 2013. Get your tickets from www.downloadfestival.co.uk.
Grohl told BBC Radio One: "There were no boundaries with that band, there were no limits with them . . . I'll do something so completely ridiculous, I'll just, like, 'There's no way that that Josh is going to let me do that,' and he'll say, 'Do that for forty-five seconds, over and over again, that's become, like, part of the song, that is a big part of the song,' and that's the way they work."
