KORN: Brian "Head" Welch Is Ready To Return To The Band Full Time!

Last summer, groundbreaking musical act KORN, were rejoined by former guitarist Brian "Head" Welch at the Carolina Rebellion festival at the legendary Rockingham Speedway in Rockingham, North Carolina to perform the bands classic hit song "Blind". Welch left KORN in 2005 to become a born-again Christian after years of hard drug and alcohol abuse while in the band. Although Welch has a NEW band called LOVE AND DEATH, both he and KORN bassist Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu said that a reunion could be possible one day under the right conditions.

Well, the big question is whither or not "Head" will return to the band full time. During a recent interview with Rollingstone.com, "Head" was asked about the possibility of the U.S. getting a full Korn tour with himself in tow. To that he replied: “We’re going slow. We’re hanging out when I’ve got time, but I’ve got my album out, and they’re busy doing their stuff. But I’d say anything is possible right now.”

Currently Welch is scheduled to rejoin the band at a number of shows this spring/summer; including the “Rock On The Range” festival in Columbus, Ohio in May (more info HERE). "Head" will also be part of next year's edition of the Rock am Ring and Rock im Park festivals, set to take place June 7-9, 2013 in the German towns of Nürburgring and Nürnberg, respectively. This is what the band to say about this:

"Head returns as a special guest to play two full shows with KORN for the first time since 2004. 'Like' if you want to see KORN live with all five members and discuss [at the official forum at Korn.com]."
