SLIPKNOT/STONE SOUR: Corey Taylor Joins Dave Grohl And Record "From Can To Can't" - Audio Available

Dave Grohl's "Sound City Documentary"  is about Sound City, the Van Nuys, California, studio that served as the recording space for several musicians and groups, including Fleetwood Mac and Tom Petty. Grohl's band Nirvana even recorded their groundbreaking album 'Nevermind' in the iconic studio.

In order to make this project very memorable, Grohl invited many of the musicians who recorded at Sound City to record a very special soundtrack for the documentary. The soundtrack is appropiately called 'Sound City: Real to Reel'.

One of the musicians that Grohl recruited for the soundtrack was Corey Taylor from SLIPKNOT and STONE SOUR.
The song is called 'From Can To Can't' and it premiered yesterday on BBC Radio (hear it below). The song also features Cheap Trick's guitarist Rick Nielsen and former Kyuss bassist Scott Reeder.

As previously reported, "Sound City" will debut at the Sundance Film Festival and is Dave Grohl's musicians first time in the director's chair. In order to cause plenty of impact at Sundance, Grohl has recruited a slew of badass musicians to perform a very special performance at the world renown film festival. Complete list HERE!

The documentary features interviews from several famous rockers including Stevie Nicks, Tom Petty, Trent Reznor, Lars Ulrich, Corey Taylor and many more. Watch the movie trailer HERE!
