THE COMMANDER IN CHIEF Release NEW Song "Dropout" (Mixed By PANTERA's Producer)!
Norwegian 7string guitarist/singer/songwriter "The Commander-In-Chief" has released her song "Dropout" as an MP3/single today! The song is sold on Reverbnation in cooperation with their charity program and $ 0.56 of each song sold goes to Oxfam America.
The song was written in Chicago when she attended High School there. More than 25 kids/teens were killed in Chicago in various shootings and gang violence that school year. When The CIC found out that the school "Dropouts"were not part of the statistics, she wrote this song.
The song was originally recorded for her 2010 Demo in Los Angeles. However, she wanted a much fatter and heavier guitar sound for the song so she re-recorded all the guitars in May 2011 at Alari Park Studios in Milan, Italy. She also changed the intro of the song and all drums were re-done.
The NEW version of "Dropout" was self produced with the great help of engineer Davide Nossa and studio-owner/chief engineer Alex Malgioglio.
The music video for "Dropout" was filmed at Alari Park Studios in May 2011. It was produced by Elia Turra.

To back her on the song she had these world class musicians: Drums by Hans Menacho (The Defiled, M.A.S.A.C.R.E.) and bass by Lance Morrison (Don Henley, Volto).
The song was mixed by Sterling Winfield (Pantera, Hatebreed, Hellyeah) who also mixed her version of "Paranoid". He later produced her debut EP 'Evolution'. Mastering was taken care by Stephen Marsh (Megadeth, Sex and the City movies).
