METALLICA: Rob Trujillo Celebrates 10 Years In The Band At SOUNDWAVE - Image Gallery Available!
Today in 2003: Roberto Trujillo began playing electric bass for Thrash Metal titans METALLICA. Trujillo received one million dollars from the band as an advance for joining Metallica. His audition and hiring appear in the documentary film "Some Kind of Monster".
Earlier today, the 'Tallica boys headlined the Soundwave Festival down in Sydney. It was the second of five Aussie dates that are on the schedule for 2013 (remaining tour dates below).
The setlist included:
Hit the Lights, Master of Puppets, Holier Than Thou, Harvester of Sorrow, Welcome Home (Sanitarium), Ride the Lightning, Broken, Beat & Scarred, Sad But True, Fade to Black, Orion, One, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Blackened, Nothing Else Matters, Enter Sandman, Creeping Death, Fight Fire with Fire and Seek & Destroy.
