All-Star Band CHICKENFOOT To Re-Release Debut Album With Live Bonus Tracks!
"Chickenfoot 1 will always be special to me for exactly what it is. Our former label went out of business and the album had been discontinued. You could not find the album anywhere, which is crazy! We got the masters back and our NEW label will re-release the 1st album and we thought we should include some live tracks from 'Chickenfoot lll'.”
The release will feature live tracks recorded on the "Different Devil" tour this past spring while supporting their latest record, "Chickenfoot III."
DISC 1:
Avienda Revolution
Soap On A Rope
Sexy Little Thing
Oh Yeah
Runnin Out
Get It Up
Down The Drain
My Kinda Girl
Learning To Fall
Turnin Left
Future Is The Past
DISC 2:

CHICKENFOOT released 'Chickenfoot III' late last year to much critical praise. "It's hard to hate big-boned butt Rock from guys clearly making it because they still love the form," said ROLLING STONE.
BILLBOARD said, “It’s a rare case of a group that’s equal to – or perhaps even greater than – the sum of its parts…this is an album that really wins hearts with its granite thump’n’roll.” USA TODAY went as far to say that "Chickenfoot III" could be "the beginning of a riff-driven renaissance."
In addition to a GRAMMY Nomination for "Best Recording Package," "Chickenfoot III" saw two top five singles on the Classic Rock charts with "Big Foot" and "Different Devil."
CHICKENFOOT is:

Chad Smith Surprises Fans By Joining CHICKENFOOT On Stage During Boston Show Encore - Video Available!
Drummer Chad Smith surprised and delighted fans on Wednesday night when he joined his group CHICKENFOOT at the Orpheum Theater during the Boston stop of the "Different Devil" tour. Smith, who is a member of the group and performed on both studio albums, was unable to take part in the tour because of prior commitments with The Red Hot Chili Peppers. The "Different Devil" tour is the group's first national U.S. tour since 2009.
About Chickenfoot's live show, The TAHOE DAILY TRIBUNE states, "Some bands just don't need to rehearse. The phrase 'you either have it or you don't' comes to mind, and these guys have it in droves."
The group's latest single, "Different Devil" is currently Top 20 on the Mediabase Mainstream Rock Chart and Top 5 on the Mediabase Classic Rock Chart.

The band recently earned a GRAMMY nomination for the “Best Recording Package,” for the creative 3D design.
The first single, “Big Foot,” debuted at #1 on the Mediabase Classic Rock Chart holding the position for 11 weeks. "Chickenfoot III" debuted at #9 on the Billboard Top 100 and follows the band’s 2009 debut album, which debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 100 and was certified gold for sales over 500,000 units by the Recording Industry Association of America.
CHICKENFOOT is also partnering with Feeding America, the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity, for a second time to encourage fans to help alleviate some of the effects of the economy. In addition to ensuring a fair priced ticket, the band will make donations to a local food bank in each market and encourages fans to do the same.

Chickenfoot - Video Premiere Of 'Behind the Foot: The Truth Behind Chickenfoot II'!
Following their recent GRAMMY nomination for the recently released 'Chickenfoot III', Chickenfoot – the supergroup featuring guitarist Joe Satriani, drummer Chad Smith, former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony and frontman Sammy Hagar – is premiering a video today that playfully speculates whatever happened to the seemingly overlooked Chickenfoot II album: “Behind the Foot: The Truth Behind Chickenfoot II.”
Satriani says, "we promised never to talk about it so I’m surprised we’re talking about it now.”
The band, which recently earned a GRAMMY nomination for the “Best Recording Package,” for the creative 3D design of their recent 'Chickenfoot III' album will release their NEW single, “Different Devil,” to radio on January 17th before embarking on a European tour in late January 2012.
Chickenfoot recently wrapped a sold out 2011 'Road Test Tour' that took them through San Francisco, Los Angeles, St. Louis, Chicago and New York with a stop for a performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! In each city along the tour, Hagar made a donation to a local food bank in a special partnership with Feeding America to encourage fans to do the same to help fight hunger, an important message that he also intended to convey through the music video for “Three And A Half Letters (I Need A Job).”
The first single from Chickenfoot III, “Big Foot,” debuted at #1 on the Mediabase Classic Rock Chart holding the position for 11 weeks, earning over 1.85 million listeners, and the album received critical acclaim. 'Chickenfoot III' features 10 tracks with so many moments of epiphany that one can barely take them all in on first listen. Colossal, stadium-shaking riffs abound on earth-movers such as “Alright, Alright,” “Last Temptation” and “Lighten Up.” Tradition meets innovation on the Nashville pop-tinged “Different Devil,” the Delta-blues flavored “Something Going Wrong” and the aching rock ballad “Come Closer.”
'Chickenfoot III' debuted at #9 on the Billboard Top 100 and follows the band’s 2009 debut album, which debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 100 and was certified gold for sales over 500,000 units by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Sammy Hagar's Chickenfoot Nominated For A Grammy!
Chickenfoot – the supergroup featuring guitarist Joe Satriani, drummer Chad Smith, former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony and frontman Sammy Hagar – have earned a Grammy nomination for the “Best Recording Package,” for the creative 3D design of their recent Chickenfoot III (eOne Music/earMUSIC/Edel) album. The Grammy-nominated band plans to return to Los Angeles with touring drummer Kenny Aronoff to perform at the 'Mark & Brian Christmas Show' on December 15th at the Nokia Theatre and will embark on a European tour in January 2012.
Designed by art director Todd Gallopo, Chickenfoot III, features an elaborately designed 3D package with optical illusions and special codes giving fans a fully immersed creative Chickenfoot experience, creating a spectacle with spectacles. With special “3D optical enhancers,” otherwise known as old-skool 3D glasses that come with each package, the cover and inside photos feature artwork that trick the eye by looking through the two different red and blue lenses of the glasses. Having used a special state-of-the-art 3D camera rig to create the designs, Chickenfoot gives fans a truly multi-dimensional experience throughout the packaging that also offers a 3D photo of each band member with stats and Q&As, QR codes for behind the scenes 3D video content from the photo shoot on smartphones and much more. A look through the red lens even reveals a very special message on the CD itself.

Chickenfoot Bring Old School Roll N' Roll Back To New York City!
Last night (Tuesday, November 8th), the Rock N' Roll supergroup known as Chickenfoot performed at the legendary Webster Hall in New York City in front of a sold out crowd. In case you missed the memo, Chickenfoot features Van Halen's Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony, guitar maestro Joe Satriani, and drummer Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Needless to say, this crew of old school musicians brought back the great vibes that only old school Rock N' Roll can deliver. Due to scheduling conflicts, Chad Smith was replaced by drumming legend Kenny Aronoff for Chickenfoot's current U.S./European Tour.
From the moment Joe Satriani stepped on stage and penetrated everyone's ear drums with his shredding guitar sound, Chickenfoot had the crowd on its toes. It is amazing what this man can do with a guitar, while keeping the song alive. As we all know, it is very hard to play loud and complex guitars parts while keep the musicality and dynamics intact. Throughout the entire set, you could see how dedicated Satriani is and how much of a perfectionist he is when it comes to guitar shredding. To say that he stole the show is an understatement... Joey (as he was baptized by a Pizza worker in New York City) is definitely a rock god!
But hey, lets not forget Sammy Hagar! His stage presence was undeniable last night and his energy captivated the audience from start to finish. Not only did his vocals sheer throughout the entire venue, but his famous rants in between songs were very entertaining. Seeing him side by side with his long time friend and bassist Michael Anthony is prove of their perseverance. The two of them together create a vibe that is hard to match and even though it may be cheesy at times, they definitely make the crowd feel good with their singalongs and stage antics!
To complete one of the best lineups in Rock music today, Chickenfoot counted with the presence of drummer Kenny Aronoff. While he is not Chad Smith (Chickenfoot's original drummer), Aronoff has skills that pay the bills. It was also very cool to see a drummer interact with the crowd and join Sammy Hagar with memorable stage rants.
All in all, it was a great performance that went on without any glitches. The show started on time, the sound was crisp, the drinks were poured, and the crowd was very well behaved. Most importantly, the band brought lots of joy to the rockers of New York, who ended up leaving with a nice buzz, a wide smile, and empty wallets! If you get a chance to catch Chickenfoot on their current mini-tour, please do so!

Chickenfoot Performs on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' - Video Available!
This past Thursday, November 3rd, Chickenfoot performed their songs "Three And A Half Letters" and "Big Foot" on ABC-TV's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!". You can watch the bands performance below.
Arguably considered one of the best new bands in Heavy Music, Chickenfoot has been making plenty of noise since the release of "CHICKENFOOT III" (out now via eOne Music/Edel/EarMusic). This supergroup features guitarist Joe Satriani, drummer Kenny Aronoff, former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony and frontman Sammy Hagar. No, don't wipe your eyes, they are not deceiving you.
Recently, the band premiered their music video for "Three and a Half Letters (I Need A Job)".
The song is motivated by the dismal job economy and features letters that were sent to Hagar as pleas for help. Chickenfoot is partnering with Feeding America to encourage fans to help alleviate some of the effects of the job economy. This is what he had to say about this.
"I received a lot of letters from people over the years who were looking for help or work and recently I received one from an Afghan War Veteran that ended with 'Can you help? I need a job’... that just really hit me and the song came together. We really want to encourage anyone to help where they can and I think one of the easiest ways is by making contributions to their local food banks so I hope we get that message across in this video and while we are on tour."
"I Need a Job," directed by Arthur Rosato (Springsteen, Bonnaroo), features the real life letters received by Hagar and closes with a call to action in partnership with Feeding America. Beginning today, the band is inviting fans to post their own letters and stories to their website in hopes it will help them find employment and continue to shed light on the critical condition in America. The band is also planning on additional outreach to bring more awareness to the issue in each city on their upcoming “Road Test Tour.” While those who are better off may not be able to offer actual jobs, Chickenfoot believes that contributions to food banks in their hometowns is one simple way, among many others, that fans can help firsthand on a local level.
The band is currently on tour on what has been dubbed the “2011 Road Test Tour”. The tour is trekking through five US and five European cities in support of their most recent release "Chickenfoot III", which debuted on the Billboard album chart at #9.
"Chickenfoot III" features 10 tracks with so many moments of epiphany that one can barely take them all in on first listen.
Chickenfoot III follows the band’s 2009 debut album, which debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top 100 and was certified gold for sales of over 500,000 units by the Recording Industry Association of America.
