AS I LAY DYING 'Awakened' Vinyl Now Available For Pre-Order!

The brand NEW album, 'AWAKENED', from San Diego, CA's devastating Metal act AS I LAY DYING will be released on vinyl on November 19, with pre-orders live today at www.indiemerch.com/metalbladerecords. 'AWAKENED' will be a gatefold release with coloured vinyl featuring a "half & half" split with half the album grey and the other half black (check out an example HERE).

AS I LAY DYING continued to chart worldwide with 'AWAKENED' coming in at #58 on Billboard's Top 200, #24 on the Rock Albums chart, #11 on the Independent Albums chart, and #3 on the Hard Rock Albums chart while landing at #49 on Canada's Top 200 Current Album chart, #5 on the Hard Music chart, and #64 on the Top Digital albums chart in the album's second week. AS I LAY DYING: Jordan Mancino Talks About NEW Album 'Awakened' At Metal Blade's 30th Anniversary!

One week ago, AS I LAY DYING headlined a very special album release show that was also in celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Metal Blade Records. The event took place at Santos Party House in New York City, and the band performed a few NEW songs from 'Awakened' (available now).

'AWAKENED'--which marks the group's sixth studio album-- is garnering early critical acclaim. In his 4/5 star album review for Alternative Press magazine, writer Jason Schreurs hailed, "Screamer Tim Lambesis has never sounded better than on a Metal anthem like 'Overcome,' his shattered scream completely ripping faces. …Awakened is the best As I Lay Dying album you can point to as Metal both modernized and maximized." (October 2012).

Prior to the bands special performance, we had the chance to chat with Jordan Mancino (drummer) about 'Awakened', the overall thinking process of the band after many years of experience and about the bands recent appearance at the 2012 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. Next up, AS I LAY DYING will launch a European tour October 15 with Trivium, Caliban and Upon A Burning Body before returning to the U.S. for California Metal Fest 6 at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, CA on Saturday, November 24.
