On this very honest piece of literature, Rex does not hold back and spills the truth about the good, the bad, and the ugly, when it comes to the glory years of PANTERA, as well as the demise of the band.  He also gets very personal by talking about his family matters while growing up, and how this affected him as an adult. He also discusses the relationship he had with the mother of his twins, and how they literally saved his life.

Consequentially, Rex discusses how the lifestyle that went hand in hand with being in PANTERA almost cost him his own life after he got heavily addicted to alcohol. And how everything he has lived through thus far, has harmed him both physically and mentally in ways that would have killed most human beings.

Rex also shares plenty of industry insight, since he was the business head behind the PANTERA machine. He actually also helped to get DOWN the proper business treatment in order for the band to succeed.

Now the whole story about Pantera will be told by one of the pivotal members of the band. Fans can expect the whole truth and nothing but the truth, in a story about a band from Texas that went against all odds and went from triumph into tragedy after the assassination of Dimebag Darrell Abbott on December 8, 2004 at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus, Ohio.

According to Brown, “This is what went down, from my point of view. If you read it, everything should be clear, at least from where I was sittin’!” He continues, “I’ve simply tried to shed some perspective and insight onto my life so far, and the many beautiful people that have surrounded it. With all the trials and tribulations, sacrifices and tragedy, I’m very grateful for even having a chance to put a smile on the fan’s faces. That’s what it all boils down to after all.”
