Trailer for Sick Of It All's "Nonstop"!

This year New York City Hardcore legends Sick Of It All are celebrating their 25th anniversary. After touring the world, the band made time to enter Antfarm Studio with Producer Tue Madsen and recorded "Nonstop", an album full of re-recorded classics. Set to be released on October 31 in Europe and on November 1 in the United States via Century Media Records, "Nonstop" is the follow up of "Based On A True Story" (2010).

This is what Sick Of It All had to say about this upcoming release.

"It was a fun recording session, and a relatively easy one because we're so used to playing so many of these songs live. They're like second nature. Most of these songs make their way into our live sets all the time, so they're current — they reach new ears and are constantly refreshed by their exposure to a brand new audience. It's not like they had to be dusted off.

"We changed tempos mostly and some of the arrangements, but we didn't want to do anything too drastic. We wanted to keep most of the songs true to the originals, but with a more powerful sound that we feel makes them all they can be."

NEW SICK OF IT ALL BABY!!!

We often focus on the negative aspects of life, such as the death of our favorite artists. Today, we want to celebrate life and congratulate Lou Koller (Sick Of It All) and his wife, for the birth of their baby girl! HORNS UP to the entire Koller family!

Make sure you don't miss the Sick Of It All CD Release show, June 11th at The Gramercy (Blender Theater)! We spoke with Lou about this show and he said that the band will pick lots of classic tunes and combine them with some of their killer new songs. The record is titled "Based on a True Story", because as I told Lou, Sick Of It All is the True New York Hard Core Story, which was inspired by Agnostic Front.

NEW SICK OF IT ALL album and video!

New York Hard Core legends Sick Of It all have a new record titled "Based on a True Story", which I have personally been hooked on since I first heard it. To me Sick Of It All represents what the New York Hard Core scene is all about: unity, honesty and determination. Proof of this is the amazing 25 year career that they have under their belt.

While some may say that Sick Of It All has passed their prime time or that they are too generic. I believe that not only has Sick Of It All released one of their best records to date, but they have also kept their world known sound intact. Sick Of It All has many more years of music for everyone out there, so you better be prepared for Sick Of It All! Support New York Hard Core!
