"It's been over 8 weeks away, and the Epic Industrialist tour is coming to an end. As a preface, this recording is the first of several installments (we're working on a video for it now, but you deserve to hear it in the raw form...) of our 'First Movement' together... Four-plus minutes of our tour farts.

"All of us on the bus (17 people) decided to start recording our farts on our iPhones, to give the general public an idea of how romantic being on a tour bus with 17 mental cases can be...

"Anyways, all these farts are real. All of them are ours. This is our mission statement.

The DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT Premieres Video Clip From "By A Thread - Live In London 2011"

Renowned multi-instrumentalist Devin Townsend will be releasing his DVD box-set, 'By A Thread - Live in London 2011', on June 18th in Europe and June 19th in North America through HevyDevy Records/InsideOut Music. To give fans a preview of this upcoming release, the DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT has now premiered a video clip of "Gato" (taken from the Ki performance).

The band also recently posted a teaser trailer with video clips from the DVD, which can be viewed here. A screening of the DVD will take place on June 5th in London at the Prince Charles Cinema. Tickets are available for this event here, and a trailer for the screening can be viewed here.

'By A Thread - Live in London 2011' contains a 4-DVD set with footage from the unique, sold-out UK shows from last fall where Devin performed all four DTP albums (Ki, Addicted, Ghost, Deconstruction), along with a 5-CD set with the four DTP albums and one disc of encores. All of the box-sets are autographed and numbered with a collector's certificate of authenticity.

The Devin Towsend Project Offer Fans a Joyride with NEW Video for "Juular" & Announce UK Tour!

When we had the chance to interview Devin Townsend (A.K.A. Hevy Devy) in July, he showed us parts of the bands new video for their song "Juular". What we saw that day was just a rough draft of the video, but nevertheless our eyes were attached to the screen while watching parts of the latest creation from director David Brodsky of MyGoodEye Productions. You can view this interview below.

The video for "Juular" is taken from The Devin Towsend Project's new album 'Deconstruction', which was released simultaneously with the band's other latest effort, 'Ghost'. With a guest appearance by vocalist from Ihsahn (ex-Emperor) and a timeless performance by Hevy Devy, this video will leave fans dying for more madness delivered by The Devin Towsend Project.



Come October, The Devin Towsend Project will be back in North America for a headlining tour-and beginning Oct. 12 in Baltimore, The Ocean will also join the band as the supporting act for the run, making this one tour that you don't want to miss! Devin Townsend Project reveal NEW Album track listing and announce tour

Apart from his music writing abilities, Devin is a well known producer and his production style has been compared to Frank Zappa and Phil Spector.

Today, the Devin Townsend Project kick off their North American tour in Los Angeles at the House of Blues and the best part is that they will be presenting to the masses their brand new albums “Deconstruction” and “Ghost” via InsideOut Music. Both records were written, engineered, and produced by Devin himself. With these releases the band has completed their remarkable 4-album series. "Deconstruction" features the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.
