Bolt Thrower have continued their 'quality not quantity' approach to playing live and that has definitely paid off. In 2010 they played a number of shows and festivals across Europe, and from playing more intimate underground shows (in keeping with their roots), they can also pull off playing to a festival crowd of 30,000 people. That's why, as they reached and moved beyond their 25th Anniversary, Bolt Thrower are still at the top of their game.
Finally, after only a handful of North American dates in the past few years, limited to Maryland Deathfest, Bolt Thrower has announced the "Return To Chaos" tour! The band will perform seven shows across the US in May. The confirmed dates are listed below, and include the Maryland Deathfest, Chaos in Tejas, as well as club shows in Pomona, CA, Seattle, WA, Chicago, IL, and more.

"Slaughter By The Water 3" is pleased to announce the addition of the almighty Exodus as this year’s main stage headliner! The third annual "Slaughter By The Water" event will take place on August 25, 2012 on the USS Hornet Aircraft Carrier in Alameda, CA. Sponsored by Monster Energy Drink, Lock & Shock, Rock The Bike, Bay Area Rocks, Scion, Native American Health Center, Dunlop, Anchor Bay Tattoos, Ustream, and Expressions College. The event is hosted by Testament’s Chuck Billy!
Advance tickets for the main stage performances (general admission) are on sale now and are just $35.00. Tickets cost $45.00 at the door. Tickets are available HERE. Main stage performances begin at 5pm and go until 12:30am aboard the USS Hornet.
From noon to 9 PM, access to the entire pier, which includes Pier Stage entertainment, food vendors and retailers, is FREE to the public. The pier stage is powered by Rock the Bike and the bands performing will be announced soon.
GET TO THE HORNET EARLY! All main stage ticket purchases also entitle you to a discounted admission rate to freely roam the USS Hornet on the day of the event between the hours of 10 AM to 4 PM. Discounted admission is $12.00 per person in addition to the cost of the general admission ticket. The second edition of "Slaughter By The Water" took place in June 2011 at The Craneway Pavillion. The show billing included AUTOPSY, CATTLE DECAPITATION, and more. The USS Hornet is 893 feet long and 33,000 tons of Metal, it's nicknamed "The Grey Ghost in Alameda" and is said to be one of the most haunted warships in the American Navy, with numerous reports of supernatural events occurring onboard. She is also a "Rosie the Riveter" ship with thirty percent of her construction crew being women and she holds a couple Navy records: most planes shot down in a day (72) and most planes shot down in a month (255). Influential Death Metal act, AUTOPSY, has revealed the release date for its upcoming DVD, 'Born Undead'. The extensive look into the blood and guts of one of Death Metal’s great pioneers will be released on August 28th in North America via Peaceville Records.

'Born Undead' charters the birth, death and rebirth of the legendary act, with an extensive documentary conducted with the band members themselves, as they describe how the beast came to be, and the impact their music has had on the Metal world over a span of more than 20 years.
The film also documents the band’s long-awaited return to the studio and stage, and includes rehearsals of both NEW tracks and old classics for AUTOPSY’s live comeback assault. The trio of 2010 reunion shows are all featured, with all the best classic tracks from Maryland Deathfest, PartySan festival and also Hole in the Sky in Norway, where Chris Reifert, Eric Cutler, and Danny Coralles were joined by Dan Lilker on bass.
With hours of footage, as well as extras including the band’s promo video for “All Tomorrow’s Funerals,” “My Corpse Shall Rise” and more, 'Born Undead' is the ultimate set for all Autopsy and Metal maniacs alike.
