DECAPITATED Drummer Quits As The Band Gears Up For Their "Asian Invasion Tour"!

As previously reported, Polish Metallers DECAPITATED are currently seeking a NEW bassist. Late last week, it was announced that drummer Kerim “Krimh” Lechner has left the building. “Krimh” jas issued the following statement announcing his departure from the extreme Polish Metal band:

“I sadly have to inform you about some major change that happened in the last months. I am no longer a member of Decapitated! Too many personal differences and other difficulties made me decide like this.

I appreciate the good times we had together and what we could achieve in more than 2 and a half years. Even if our ways are dividing, I wish the band to keep going. However, it’s time for me to move on. I don’t know what will be next but I would like to stay in this business.

I love to write and play music for you guys. This is my life and this is what I want to continue.”

For their upcoming Asian tour (details below), the band will be joined by fellow countryman and former Vader drummer Pawel "Pawulon"Jaroszewicz.

In more DECAPITATED news, the band has announced the "ASIAN INVASION TOUR". The band is ready to annihilate Southeast Asia and the Land of the Rising Sun with their internationally-acclaimed technical Death Metal, DECAPITATED will launch their “Asian Invasion” tour on September 8th in Nepal, India.

Opening for Fear Factory for three shows in their first visit to Japan and playing six different nations, DECAPITATED will be joined by fellow countryman and former Vader drummer Pawel "Pawulon"Jaroszewicz.

“It will be a huge honor to tear it up for all our fans in Asia who thought they would never see us play for them!” states guitarist / founding member Vogg. “Cannot wait!”

DECAPITATED's Waclaw “Vogg” Kieltyka Talks About Touring With MESHUGGAH & Breaking International Sound Barriers!

“The Ophidian Trek”, which featured Meshuggah, Baroness and the mighty Decapitated, demolished North American cities last month with a grand finale showcase in New York City on May 23rd at Terminal 5.

Once again, we joined forces with our friend over at NextMosh.com to capture all the action (see our MESHUGGAH pictures here), including a video interview with Decapitated guitarist Waclaw “Vogg” Kieltyka. During the chat that Jo Schüftan had with Vogg, the Polish Metaller discussed what it is like to tour with MESHUGGAH and how the bands Death Metal mission has helped them break international barriers. DECAPITATED Need A NEW Bassist! Do You Have What It Takes?

After there very successful North American trek with MESHUGGAH, Polish extreme Metal veterans DECAPITATED are seeking a NEW bassist. Interested parties can contact the band at decapitatedband@gmail.com.

The bands latest album, 'Carnival Is Forever', landed at position No. 11 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by NEW and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

'Carnival Is Forever' was released in North America last July via Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2006's 'Organic Hallucinosis' was recorded at Radio Gdansk Studio in Poland with producer Wacek Kieltyka and engineer Arkadiusz "Malta" Malczewski. Drums were tracked with Daniel Bergstrand (BEHEMOTH, MESHUGGAH, DIMMU BORGIR, KEEP OF KALESSIN, DEFLESHED), who also handled mixing duties.

DECAPITATED's lineup includes Waclaw "Vogg" Kieltyka on guitar, Kerim "Krimh" Lechner (THORNS OF IVY, TONE INTIMACY) on drums, and Rafal Piotrowski (KETHA, FORGOTTEN SOULS) on lead vocals.
