As previously reported, tragedy struck at the Toronto stop of this years Vans Warped Tour when 19-year-old Taylor Nesseth was found unconscious.According
to CBC News, Canadian Police have confirmed that the victim was
discovered this afternoon near the stage at the Molson Amphitheater,
scene of the daylong punk festival. The Alternative Press reports that the fan passed out during Chelsea Grin's set at around 12:40 PM. Witnesses attempted to perform CPR but were unable to resuscitate the young woman at the venue.
When the paramedics arrived at the scene, they found Nesseth without a pulse. She was brought to Toronto Western Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
That same day, other Toronto fans were cleared from the area, but it was due to weather concerns, the Toronto Star reports. They were moved to a covered part of the venue.
As of press time, neither the band or concert organizers have released any statements, and official word about the fan's identity has yet to be confirmed.
