Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth Returns To The Stage Following His Health Mishap!

This past February, OVERKILL were forced to pull the plug and pull out from "The Dark Roots Of Thrash Tour" after Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth was diagnosed with walking pneumonia (full statement HERE). The tour featured TESTAMENT, FLOTSAM AND JETSAM, and 4ARM.

Thankfully, "Blitz" recovered smoothly is back on the road in Scandinavia with his band OVERKILL (tour dates below).

Last night, "Blitz" hit the stage in Gothenburg, Sweden (the capital of Swedish Metal) and performed a duet with DORO! The two legendary Metal vocalists performed "Always Live To Win".

Deutschland's WACKEN Open Air 2013 Is Ausverkauft (Sold Out)!

Ever wondered why Europe get all of the massive super extreme music festivals? Well, it is because they make this happen year after year: ALL 75,000 tickets to next year's edition of the WACKEN Open Air festival have been sold — a little more than a month after being made available. This marks the EIGHTH time in a row that WACKEN Open Air is sold out and it is the event's fastest sellout ever!

And no, the ticket sales are not cheap. They are actually about twice the price as most festivals in North America. What this means is that the concert organizers can pay the bands a higher guarantee, so very often the bands opt to be part of the European festivals and not the North American festivals.

Deutschland's RAMMSTEIN To Perform At Next Year's DOWNLOAD & WACKEN OPEN AIR Fests!

Awesome news! German music machines RAMMSTEIN will be performing at next year's Download (June 14-16, 2013 at Donington Park in Leicestershire, United Kingdom) and Wacken Open Air festivals (August 1-3, 2013 in Wacken, Germany).

Season 11 Of THAT METAL SHOW Premieres Tonight on VH1 Classic!

Season 11 of THAT METAL SHOW officially kicks off tonight (August 11) at 11 PM on VH1 Classic! For tonight's episode, Eddie Trunk, Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine, welcome DISTURBED's front man David Draiman and ADRENALINE MOB's Russell Allen and Mike Orlando.
