BEYOND DISHONOR Premiere Music Video For "Heisenberg"!

New Jersey Metal maniacs BEYOND DISHONOR have premiered a music video for their first single, entitled "Heisenberg", via their official YouTube channel. You should definitely watch this video below. Any fan of the hit television drama ‘Breaking Bad’ will immediately recognize that "Heisenberg" is a tribute to the popular show— complete with yellow meth lab suits, greasy cigar-smoking drug kingpins, shady factory laboratories galore and more.
"Heisenberg" is part of the band’s upcoming EP entitled 'Generations', set to be released in June 2013.

“It's an obvious homage to one of our favorite pieces of entertainment, but it is wrapped around a stronger metaphor - just as Walt perfects the formula against his better judgement, so too are we forced to find and perfect the formula for notice and respect in this tumultuous industry and genre,” states lead vocalist Reese Dunlap. “That theme is referenced throughout the song, and goes one step further in the video, where we are, in a sense, a victim of this formulaic control. It is only when we have 'perfected the formula' that we can finally escape mediocrity.”

Here is the music video for "Heisenberg":

Coming up, BEYOND DISHONOR will head out on a 13-date east coast trek beginning April 12th. Several dates include performances with internationally-recognized artists such as Miss May I, Whitechapel, Texas in July and more, plus a stop at the annual Launch Music Conference in Lancaster, PA. ASKING ALEXANDRIA have announced that they will be releasing their third studio album this Summer via Sumerian Records. The bands NEW record is called 'From Death To Destiny' and was produced by Joey Sturgis (THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, EMMURE) and it was recorded at the Foundation Recording Studios in Indiana and NRG in Hollywood.

Today (April 1), we are premiering a NEW song by AA called "The Death Of Me". The band are stoked to be able to premiere, especially after Friday's insanity. What happened? Well, a drunk driver crashed into their bus while the band was in Las Vegas. Here is what Danny Worsnop had to say about the incident:

"We are all okay besides a couple of back aches. The trailer is fucked, the bus has heavy damage and the other car he hit is destroyed".

ASKING ALEXANDRIA's NEW Album Mixes Sounds Of Old School SLIPKNOT & MÖTLEY CRÜE!

ASKING ALEXANDRIA have announced that they have completed the production of their third studio album. The bands NEW batch of music was produced by Joey Sturgis (THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, EMMURE) and it was recorded at the Foundation Recording Studios in Indiana and NRG in Hollywood. The bands as-yet-untitled album will see the light of day sometime within the next few months via Sumerian Records.

Here is what guitarist Ben Bruce told GuitarWorld.com about the direction of the bands NEW studio album: "There's a lot of heavy riffage on this record, whereas in the past we relied more on rhythms and breakdowns," he said. "So in that respect it's very much like old SLIPKNOT. But then the choruses and a lot of the bridges are more Rock-based, which is our MÖTLEY CRÜE side."

Bruce was quick to add, however: "The album is by no means a regurgitation of the Eighties. If kids buy this record thinking it's going to sound like [MÖTLEY CRÜE's 1987 effort] 'Girls, Girls, Girls', it doesn't fucking sound like 'Girls, Girls, Girls'. It sounds like ASKING ALEXANDRIA.

"It's a lot more mature than anything we've done before. It's not so much about partying and fucking random girls and doing drugs and stuff. We've actually taken the time to write something that's truly meaningful to us. The last two records were great, and we loved them, but we were different people then. We were a lot younger and had less experience. When you compare the albums, it will definitely show how much we've grown."

UNDERØATH Announce Plans To Disband & Reveal Details For 'Anthology' Album - Official Statement Available!

More breaking news: UNDERØATH have announce that they will be disbanding! They have also announced that they are compiling a "best of" album entitled 'Anthology 1999 – 2013', which will feature two brand NEW songs. The band will also be announcing their farewell tour next week.

Here is the official press release:

Groundbreaking metalcore act UNDERØATH are formally announcing their plans to disband following a remarkable 15-year career that made a monumental impact on millions of fans and forever changed the face of Heavy Music.

“It’s sad to say that we feel like it’s time to close this chapter, but we have never seen things more clearly,” says vocalist Spencer Chamberlain. “These have been the best years of my entire life, and I owe that to every single person who ever supported this band along the way. This wasn’t a quick decision by any means. It’s just time for us to move on.”

The band is closing an era during which it served as a pillar of the Heavy Music scene. UNDERØATH formed an indelible bond with their massive fan base through relentless touring in front of sellout audiences on six continents, as well as the early adoption and mastery of social networking that helped bridge the divide between band and fan - resulting in the band becoming one of the first with 1 million ‘likes’ on Facebook as well as a tally of more than 70 million plays on MySpace.

The Tampa, Florida-based group released seven acclaimed albums in total – including the Gold-certified mid-2000s releases 'They're Only Chasing Safety' and 'Define the Great Line' – that collectively yielded several groundbreaking videos, Grammy and Dove Award nominations and total sales in excess of 1.3 million units.

On the road to becoming one of Hard Rock’s biggest success stories, UNDERØATH created a deep and enduring culture surrounding its music and message and became that rarest of things in the music world: a band that actually meant something, to millions of fans around the globe.

UNDERØATH will cap its incredible run with the release of a career retrospective album, 'Anthology 1999-2013' – released November 6 on Solid State Records. With tracks culled from their 1999 debut, 'Act of Depression', through the instant classics on 2010’s 'Ø (Disambiguation)', 'Anthology 1999-2013' is an essential collection of songs that celebrates the evolution of this seminal band.
Pushing 'Anthology 1999-2013' beyond a mere retrospective, the release gives fans one last chance to hear newly recorded material in the form of NEW tracks “Sunburnt” and “Unsound.” Recorded with longtime producer Matt Goldman, the two NEW songs represent the final material recorded by the band.

"Over the past decade or so of our lives, we have been able to live a dream traveling the world, playing music that excites us, and meeting more amazing people than we could have ever fathomed," says keyboardist Chris Dudley. "This couldn't be a more bittersweet moment for us. We have accomplished more, met more friends, seen more places and have just done more than we could have ever imagined, and we really wanted to just go out on the highest note possible. That's why we have put together a group of great friends and musicians for what will be our final tour ever. We are taking every moment of this tour as an opportunity to say goodbye to you all, as well as celebrate what has taken place over all these years. The love we have and the debt of gratitude that we owe to all of you is not able to be measured in any way."

That farewell tour will commence in 2013, featuring fan-favorite songs that span the entirety of UNDERØATH’s career. Further details to be announced next week.

“We don’t take this very lightly and it’s heartbreaking for all of us,” Chamberlain says of the band’s announcement, “but all good things must come to an end. We love all of you and hope to see you again soon.”

Bury Your Dead "Mosh N' Roll" Roots!

New England Metalcore masters Bury Your Dead have a new album titled "Mosh N' Roll" (to be released on August 2 via Mediaskare Records) and after listening to their new song "Bluebeard" (courtesy of Noisecreep), its evident that the band has returned to their heavier roots. This will be their sixth studio album. Here is the Official press release:

Returning to the mic for the first time since 2007, Mat Bruso leads the band (guitarist Brendan “Slim” MacDonald, and drummer Mark Castillo) through a sonic hailstorm of vicious ferocity on eleven blistering tracks of intense hardcore and metal.

“In the years I spent away from Bury Your Dead, I spent a lot of time thinking of all the things I could say on tour or on a record that I can’t get away with saying in the real world,” explains Bruso. “I would listen to the old stuff and think, “I can’t believe that I used to yell this and kids would yell it right back.” Doesn’t work like that in the real world. I never thought I was the kind of guy who needed to write poetry or lyrics to get by; I just enjoyed doing it. But, I found myself scribbling things down and repeating lines to an imaginary song in my head all day at work, “You’re not getting older, you’re just getting old,” over and over again. I jumped at the chance to get some of these lyrics off my chest, doing guest vocals for Four Year Strong and The Ghost Inside. So when Bury Your Dead asked me if I wanted to do another record, well, fuck yes. “

Featuring eleven furious Hardcore Metal anthems like “Slaughterhouse-Five,” “Bluebeard” and “Slapstick,” Mosh ‘n’ Roll recaptures the inflamed spirit of Bury Your Dead’s early records as the band dives fist first into the pit for one of the year’s most torrential Metalcore albums.

“This record has some of the heaviest songs Bury Your Dead has ever written, and lyrically it is my favorite,” adds Bruso. “Marks feet do all the things we have come to expect them to, and Slim chugs so much, I don’t even think his guitar is making notes half the time. The whole thing is written to be played live. It speeds up for two-step parts live and slows the fuck down for some incredibly violent breakdowns. I say some of my favorite things ever. It continues the themes of family and forgiveness, but abandons whinny tour lyrics and is just the most bitter and angry stuff we could muster. I am still Edge, but some of the lyrics she proposed were about drinking and I feel like they worked as metaphor for shitty destructive decisions we all make, and it gets me so pumped just thinking about playing them live.”

Bury Your Dead has sold over 300,000 albums worldwide and have toured with bands like: Korn, Killswitch Engage, Disturbed, Chimaira, Deftones, Suicide Silence, Stone Sour, Shadows Fall, Cavalera Conspiracy, The Dillinger Escape Plan among many others. The band will be headlining the Over The Limit 2 Tour this summer with Evergreen Terrace, For The Fallen Dreams, In The Midst of Lions, Thick As Blood, Betrayal, Hundredth and Murder Death Kill supporting followed by a Headlining European tour in August.

1) Slaughterhouse-Five
2) Nothing Is Lost Save Honor
3) Bluebeard
4) The Sirens of Titan
5) Deadeye Dick
6) Timequake
7) Sun Moon Star
