Generation Kill's 'Red, White and Blood' = That Metal Show's "Pick Of The Week"!
In times when music has become somewhat stale and predictable, Generation Kill has delivered the Heavy Music community a fresh sounding, hard hitting crushing display of adrenaline, via their new album entitled "Red, White and Blood". The band is fronted by Exodus' vocalist Rob Dukes, who joined forces with his good friend Rob Moschetti (ex-Pro Pain & M.O.D.) in order to create music without an agenda.
This past Saturday (December 31, 2011), That Metal Show's Don Jamieson chose 'Red, White and Blood' as his "Pick Of The Week". Here is what Jamieson had to say about the bands debut album:
"My buddy Rob Dukes who is the singer in Exodus now, has a new album with a band called Generation Kill. It's a great album with a Punk tinged Thrash sound... which is not easy to say on television. And it's very Heavy! Uber Heavy! "
Here is the clip:
On Friday the 13th of January, Generation Kill will be headlining the first-ever "Underground Metal Friday's" at Fontana's Bar in New York City! Here is the official event flier.
Recently, the band premiered the NEW video clip for their song "Red White and Blood". The video clip offers a full concept telling the all too real story of a war veteran turned serial killer through his traumatic experiences at the front. Concept by Rob Dukes (Exodus). Check it out!
Generation Kill is:
- Rob Dukes: Vocals
- Rob Moschetti: Bass/Backing Vocals

Generation Kill - Video Premiere Of 'Red White and Blood'!
Today, we bring you the bands new video clip for their song "Red White and Blood". The video clip offers a full concept telling the all too real story of a war veteran turned serial killer through his traumatic experiences at the front. Concept by Rob Dukes (Exodus).
- Vital Statistics:
\m/ LINEUP:
- Rob Dukes: Vocals
- Rob Moschetti: Bass/Backing Vocals
- Lou Lehman: Lead Guitar
- Jason Trenczer: Lead Guitar
- James DeMaria: Drums
\m/ YEAR OF FORMATION: 2009
\m/ ORIGIN: Rockland County, New York
\m/ MISSION: To THRASH all of your senses!
\m/ BIOGRAPHY:
These Americans absolutely know what they are doing and it could hardly be done better. This should come as no surprise as Generation Kill was formed by current Exodus frontman Rob Dukes and Rob Moschetti (ex-Pro Pain, M.O.D.). Drawing deeply from their roots that show through openly, the duo enlisted two lead guitarist/song writers to introduce a whole new dimension. While Jason Trenczer is a master of technical guitar work, Lou Lehman adds his catchy riffs and solos.
Newest edition to the band is Powerhouse Drummer Jim DeMaria. Jim adds an extra dose of speed and power with his Hardcore/Thrash background. Generation Kill is not a side
project! "Red White and Blood" will give you the thrashing of your
life!

Rob Dukes (Exodus) & Rob Moschetti (ex-Pro Pain, M.O.D) Discuss Generation Kill's NEW Album 'Red, White and Blood'!
Ever since their inception, the original concept of the band was to break away from a predictable formula of music. They consciously decided to blend in elements of Thrash Metal, Hardcore, and various other musical styles, in order to embrace their roots. Prove of this sonic crossover of music can be found on their new album "Red, White and Blood", in which each song has its own identity and mood, which gives the band a signature sound without ever abandoning their influences.
The band recently took over the "Heavy Metal Mecca", Duff's Brooklyn, to celebrate the release of "Red, White and Blood" (out now via Season Of Mist). During the Metallic event, we had the chance to chat with members of the band about the formation of Generation Kill, the creation of "Red, White and Blood", and their future plans.
Speaking of the bands future plans, they will be performing at the 2011 "Hixon Helloween Fest" on Saturday, October 29 at The Trash Bar in Brooklyn. Click here for more details.
Without further due, here is our interview with Generation Kill! Sit back, relax, crank it up, and spread the word!

- Rob Dukes: Vocals
