This year will be a very busy one for New England Metallers KILLSWITCH ENGAGE. The band will be releasing their sixth studio album and first one with Jesse Leach since 2002's 'Alive Or Just Breathing', on April 2 via Roadrunner Records. Entitled 'Disarm THE Descent', this record is definitely one of the most anticipated albums of 2013.Listen to a NEW KSE song HERE!
In support of 'Disarm THE Descent', the band will be very busy touring the world. The band will bekicking off their world tour in February at the Soundwave Festival in Australia, then in March they will go to Hawaii and Alaska. The band will then focus on doing press for the NEW record, and in April they will be touring Europe all the way until May. The big question that this touring agenda arises is the large gap between May 6 and August 14. Well, that gap happens to fall around the time in which the 2013 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival will occur. HERE is the initial batch of tour dates for Mayhem Fest!

The Van Halen camp have unleashed a 90-second teaser of "Beats Workin'", a NEW song from their highly anticipated 12th studio album entitled "A Different Kind Of Truth". Their first single and music video for their NEW song "Tattoo" caused a lot of commotion, after many felt that the song was a rip off of some of their previous material. Van Halen's NEW studio album will be available on Tuesday, February 7th.

In other Van Halen news, the band returned to the musical spectrum last week at a tiny nightclub in New York City called Cafe Wha? The private show welcomed 250 VIP guests and it ended up being as successful as the bands 2007/2008 reunion tour with original singer David Lee Roth. This warm up gig served as the bands promotional campaign kick off for the NEW Van Halen album entitled 'A Different Kind Of Truth'.
