The production process itself, which was lead by the bands guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz and mixed by Andy Sneap, is evidence that musical magic was created by the KSE crew:

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE Release 'Disarm THE Descent', Here Is Our Review!
The day has arrived, today (April 2) KILLSWITCH ENGAGE are proud to release their sixth studio album 'Disarm THE Descent' via Roadrunner Records. The record is the first one with Jesse Leach on vocals since 2002's 'Alive Or Just Breathing'.
If you have not listened to the bands latest effort, you must! While KSE have always been a great band and have released a lot of good records, this is the ultimate KSE record. As we reported at the end of last year, Jesse revitalized the band as soon as he returned to the fold. He also saved the band from having to call it a day, following the departure of Howard Jones. Read on...
After spending hours at a rehearsal studio in New York City to find the proper replacement for Jones, the band were actually exhausted from endless auditions that were not hitting the sweet spot. After taking a short New York Pizza break, Jesse arrived and the three song audition turned into a full set. While the KSE dudes knew Jesse was the right choice from the moment the jam started, they made him wait a few days before bringing him to the band that he should have never left.
On 'Disarm The Descent', you can tell that all of the band members are very happy not only personally, but creatively. And a happy band writes great music. This words posted yesterday by Jesse say it all:
"Have I told you lately that I love you?
"Spent the day at "Fuse" doing an exclusive interview and it hit me?!! !Tomorrow is the big final release day for "Disarm the Descent"! So grateful for everyone's support and love! It has been a crazy and amazing year for me. Looking forward to getting back on the tour bus in 5 days! Cheers and One Love people!"
The production process itself, which was lead by the bands guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz and mixed by Andy Sneap, is evidence that musical magic was created by the KSE crew:
- Jesse Leach (vocals)
- Mike D'Antonio (bass)
- Adam Dutkiewicz and Joel Stroetzel (guitars)
- Justin Foley (drums)

Tons Of KILLSWITCH ENGAGE Tour Dates Revealed!
This year will be a very busy one for New England Metallers KILLSWITCH ENGAGE. The band will be releasing their sixth studio album and first one with Jesse Leach since 2002's 'Alive Or Just Breathing', on April 2 via Roadrunner Records. Entitled 'Disarm THE Descent', this record is definitely one of the most anticipated albums of 2013. Listen to a NEW KSE song HERE!
In support of 'Disarm THE Descent', the band will be very busy touring the world. The band will be kicking off their world tour in February at the Soundwave Festival in Australia, then in March they will go to Hawaii and Alaska. The band will then focus on doing press for the NEW record, and in April they will be touring Europe all the way until May.
The big question that this touring agenda arises is the large gap between May 6 and August 14. Well, that gap happens to fall around the time in which the 2013 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival will occur. HERE is the initial batch of tour dates for Mayhem Fest!

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE: Jesse Leach Shares Some Wise Words About Being "Considerate"
Recently, New England Metallers KILLSWITCH ENGAGE wrapped up the 10th anniversary tour for their groundbreaking album 'Alive Or Just Breathing'. So what's next for the KSE crew? Well, the band will be unleashing a brand NEW album, their sixth studio album and first one with Jesse Leach since 2002's 'Alive Or Just Breathing', on April 2 via Roadrunner Records. More details HERE!
In between writing and recording "the record of his career" and touring extensively ever since he rejoined the band, Jesse has been blogging for Gun Shy Assassin. On his latest installment, Jesse discusses being "Considerate".
When Killswitch Engage frontman Jesse Leach isn't touring or writing "the record of his career" he puts pen to paper (or fingers to keys) to discuss his observations of the world at large. In his most recent essay for Gun Shy Assassin, Leach ponders the topic of being "Considerate". A short excerpt follows:
"How many people do you know are truly considerate? Are you? It blows my mind how self-involved we can all be in our daily life; I know I am. I have moments where I have to check myself, hold my tongue or just stop and reflect on a situation before reacting. Being self-aware is a trait that is rare in people and something you have to work on daily... Even if you are a 'tough' person with 'thick skin,' deep down, people’s words and/or actions effect us whether we know it or not.
"It’s like the 'bully' at school that picks on everyone and you find out his dad beats him and abuses him mentally, physically or what have you. We are products of our environments. This is also how people become over privileged ego maniacs in the world of entertainment and celebrity. Trust me, I know a few. When people constantly praise you and tell you how amazing you are, if you don’t have a humble upbringing or true friends to ground you, it changes you. If only parents raised their children correctly, but we all know that is going to be an ongoing problem. No one is perfect right? So what about you, seriously—what about you? The only reason I write these columns is to connect with some one out there, to share my miniscule yet hope filled perspective (and hopefully make you, the reader, think a bit). So I ask the obvious rhetorical question: Are you considerate to people in your daily life or are you just out for yours?"

Killswitch Engage
Following the bands ferocious and legendary set, it became very clear to us that Jesse Leach's return to the band is by far the comeback of the year 2012 in Heavy Music! Not only did the return of Leach revitalize the band and influenced their upcoming studio album (due in April of 2013 via Roadrunner Records), but it will surely help to keep Heavy Music rising in 2013 and beyond.
Here is a video special we produced in commemoration of KILLSWITCH ENGAGE's latest accomplishment!
There are only 2 shows on this NOT to be missed tour, which also features SHADOWS FALL and ACARO!
- December 27: Baltimore, MD at Rams Head Live
- December 29: Clifton Park, NY at Upstate Concert Hall
