Austin, Texas outfit THE SWORD, released their fourth studio album entitled 'Apocryphon" last October via Razor & Tie and November 2 in Europe through Napalm Records. The bands latest record was produced and engineered by J. Robbins (CLUTCH, JAWBOX) at Magpie Cage Studios and featured cover art by comic book artist genious J.H. Williams III (Batwoman, Promethea).

KYNG Back On Track Following The Near Fatal Accident Of Their Bassist
In early February it was announced HERE that LA's power trio KYNG were forced to pull out from CLUTCH's "Earth Rocker North American tour". KYNG had to be replaced by Scorpion Child since their bassist Tony Castaneda was involved in a very serious car accident. Thankfully, the KYNG boys are back in action as you can see on the picture on the right (uploaded by Tony a few minutes ago).
Not only are they back on the road with THE SWORD (tour dates below), but they have also completed the recording sessions for the follow up of the critically acclaimed 'Trampled Sun' with producer Jim Rota (Fireball Ministry, Sound City), and Andrew Alekel on the helm. The sessions took place in Los Angeles, CA at an undisclosed location. Additionally, the band has announced that they will be part of these years Bonnaroo Music Festival!

THE SWORD Announce Massive U.S. Headlining Tour - Itinerary Available!
Austin, Texas outfit THE SWORD, will be releasing their fourth studio album entitled 'Apocryphon" on October 22 in the U.S. via Razor & Tie and November 2 in Europe through Napalm Records. The bands NEW record was produced and engineered by J. Robbins (CLUTCH, JAWBOX) at Magpie Cage Studios and will feature cover art by comic book artist genious J.H. Williams III (Batwoman, Promethea).
Today, THE SWORD has announced a massive U.S. tour, which will kick off on October 29 in Corpus Christi, Texas and will conclude on December 18 in Houston, Texas. GYPSYHAWK will be support on the entire tour while EAGLE CLAW will appear through November 24 and AMERICAN SHARKS will appear December 2 through December 18.
