SLASH's Divorce Might Cost him Half of his Assets (El Divorcio de SLASH le Podría Costar la Mitad de sus Bienes)
After 14 years of marriage, SLASH and his wife Perla Ferrar have announced that they are getting divorced again. As you may recall, last time the divorce was nulled by SLASH after the couple reconciliated.
While a divorce is never pretty, this one might get really ugly for SLASH as he might lose half of his assets. TMZ has reported that no prenuptial agreement was signed between the two parties, and that Perla already hired a lawyer to find out how much SLASH is worth.
But it's all not bad news for SLASH. Since the couple got married after the demise of GUNS N' ROSES, she wouldn't receive a penny from SLASH's G N 'R money. And lets face it, even though SLASH has cashed in after leaving G N' R via various projects, the majority of his income does come from G N' R.
We really hope that the couple keep it cool for the sake of their two sons (pictured above).

RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE's Tom Morello Discusses 20th Anniversary Celebratory CD/DVD!
Recently, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE bassists Tim Commerford teased the bands fans about some NEW music by one of the best bands of the nineties. Well, the bands guitarist Tom Morello has told Billboard that the bands has "no plans beyond" the Nov. 27 release of "Rage Against The Machine -- XX," a two-CD/two-DVD set commemorating the 20th anniversary of the band's landmark first album.
Here is what he had to say about the bands celebratory CD/DVD release:
"We're really psyched to be putting this out for the fans," Morello says. "We are blessed with having perhaps the most passionate fans to ever listen to a bootlegged recording or mosh at a show, so I want to really give them a motherlode of Rage Against The Machine history, past and present."
The "XX" set includes:
- The original album with three live track B-sides.
- RATM's original demo tape that includes the unreleased songs "Darkness of Greed" and "Clear the Lane."
- The DVDs include the group's June 6, 2010 performance in London's Finbury Park, music videos, live footage from 1992, 1993, 1996 and 1997.
- A homemade video if RATM's first public performance on Oct. 23, 1991 in North Ridge, Calif. Public Enemy's Chuck D wrote liner notes for the set.
"It doesn't feel like 20 years, but at the same time it's sobering that it is," Morello says. "There's no crystal ball that we could've looked into when we were writing these songs in 1991 that would have told us we'd be talking about this record over two decades later. And I will say that 20 years later we're able to take pride in the fact that in the history of rock music there has never been a more popular band with as radical politics as Rage Against The Machine, nor has there been a band with more radical politics than Rage Against The Machine that has been as popular. That is the lasting testament to the first shot fired by this album and how it continues to resonate with rebels around the world."
RATM has been inactive since performing at the LA Rising festival during July of 2011 in Los Angeles. Frontman Zack de la Rocha had previously indicated the group would make another album, its first since "Renegades" in 2000, while Commerford told TMZ during October that the band was "maybe" working on a NEW album. Meanwhile, Morello, who released his most -- who released his latest album as The Nightwatchman, "World Wide Rebel Songs," in 2011 -- wouldn't say yet whether the group would consider similar anniversary treatments for its other three albums.
"One at a time, man!" he says with a laugh. "The good news is that we've got time to think about it. I think the next one ('Evil Empire') came out in '96, so there's four years to decide on that." But, he adds, there's a scarcity of possible bonus content. "There have been a lot of shows recorded professionally, but there are not unreleased songs," he notes.

RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE Working On NEW Music?
Wondering what is going on in the RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE camp these days? Well, recently TMZ.com ran into bassist Tim Commerford and asked him whither the band is working on a NEW album? His response: "Maybe". A maybe is better than a no right?
RATM's last record, 'Renegades', was released in 2000 and they disbanded that same year due to creative differences. They reunited in 2007 and did a handful of shows, but ever since then nothing has happened.
In 2010, RATM's guitarist Tom Morello dismissed as "inaccurate" a quote from the group's frontman Zack De la Rocha where the singer reportedly said that the chances of the band recording a NEW album are better now than they have been before. "There's no plans for that now," Morello said. "The band gets along great, we're playing some of the best shows of our career over the last couple of years, and no one is ruling out that... But as a band, I hope that we will continue to, at a minimum, play shows in the future."
Stay tuned for more RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE news!

PUDDLE OF MUDD Singer Arrested After Fighting A Flight Attendant; Incident Causes Emergency Landing!
According to TMZ.com, PUDDLE OF MUDD singer Wes Scantlin was arrested earlier today at an Austin, Texas airport for allegedly becoming drunkenly combative with a flight attendant while in the air -- a rep for the Austin PD told TMZ.
According to the Austin PD, Scantlin got into a verbal argument with a flight attendant over alcohol. It's unclear exactly what provoked the argument, but a source with airport security says Scantlin was upset because the flight crew wouldn't sell him booze.
Scantlin's flight was originally bound for Los Angeles but was re-routed to Bergstrom International Airport in Austin for an emergency stop, where Scantlin was booted from the plane.
A rep for the Austin PD tells us, Scantlin was arrested and booked for public intoxication, but he could also later face federal charges of interfering with a flight crew. What an idiot!
FYI -- Scantlin pled "guilty" to felony cocaine possession in July, but the judge agreed to clear his record in 18 months so long as Scantlin obeys all laws... a condition Scantlin may just have violated. Again, what an idiot!

More Details About The Arrest Of Jimmy Bain (Former Member Of DIO/Rainbow)!
As previously reported, former DIO/RAINBOW bassist James Stewart Bain (A.K.A. Jimmy Bain) was arrested on Tuesday night for DUI and illegally possessing prescription medication. Here are some excerpts of the Police report:
According to Sgt. Darin Ryburn of the Burbank, California police department, Bain, 64, was making a left out of the Fry's Home Electronics store parking lot in his 1995 green Toyota Camry on to westbound Vanowen Street, near Hollywood Way, about 9 p.m. Tuesday night (August 28) when he pulled in front another vehicle, causing a collision.
Police officers administered a field sobriety test, but Bain "failed to satisfactorily pass it," Ryburn told the Burbank Leader. They also discovered the musician was in possession of Vicodin pills without a valid prescription.
Bain, who had an outstanding felony warrant for drugs, was arrested on suspicion of DUI, possessing narcotic pills and the warrant, Ryburn said. He was released Wednesday after posting $60,000 bail.
The rocker is scheduled to appear in a Los Angeles County Superior courtroom on September 19.
