Tombs 'Path Of Totality' Named Album Of The Year By Decibel Magazine!
Brooklyn, New York's Tombs have received the coveted of Album of the Year Award from Decibel Magazine for their sophomore release "Path of Totality". Here is what vocalist and guitarist Mike Hill had to say about this great accomplishment.
"We're fortunate to have received so much support. A lot of hard work goes into what we do and it means a lot to us knowing that our music is being enjoyed by someone outside of our rehearsal space"
Tombs recently played as part of the Rocks Off Boat Cruise Series with Kvelertak and Skeletonwitch. Live footage of their performance on the Hudson River can be viewed below. The footage was shot by Torsten Meyer.
"Path of Totality" is currently available on CD/2xLP via Relapse Records here and via iTunes.
Tombs have confirmed 3 shows for December and will be playing at 2012's Roadburn Festival.
- Dec. 2: Revere, MA at Wonderland Ballroom (w/Eyehategod, Doomriders)
- Dec. 3: New York, NY at ABC No Rio (Early Show)
- Dec. 3: Philadelphia, PA at The Barbary (w/ Ladder Devils)
- Apr 14 2012: Tilburg, Holland at Roadburn
