Drama Alert: CATTLE DECAPITATION Cancel New York City Appearance After A Fist Fight With Members Of SIX FEET UNDER!

CATTLE DECAPITATION has apparently dropped off the SIX FEET UNDER tour following some drama between their vocalist Travis Ryan and SIX FEET UNDER's Chris Barnes.

Ryan had the following to say via Facebook:

"Chris Barnes is a fucking hack. I've personally passed on at least five Six Feet tours over the last 8 or so years because he pulls so much nonsense on the support bands because his ego is astronomical. We're leaving the Chris Barnes Show tour today. Go to the Chris Barnes show and buy some of their merch. They need it desperately.

"He couldn't handle the fact that we were destroying him nightly on merch and talked shit about us on stage last night. I went to confront him about that and he sucker punched me as I was talking. He immediately RAN out the door and fled to his bus like he does every night when the two fans that are left for their show are trying to get him to sign something.

"We're leaving because we have no interest in bringing more people to the Chris Barnes show. There was no "fight". He punched me, RAN away and a few people saw it. I just walked out told his tour manager the deal, wrapped up the merch and left.

"Just don't go to the show and please get the word out. Cattle Decapitation is not doing this tour as we no longer wish to bring peole to his show. Cuz its HIS show. More than enough people have drilled that fact into us.

"He says: "what about showing some respect" I laughed, said "respect?" And proceeded to tell him about the time where he spent all night with me outside their bus @ the tail end of the Butchered At Birth Tour in 93 and that respect was paid long ago and he's since proved to the Metal world how much of a bitch he is… I got "dude, in 1993…" In there and he punched me as I was talking. Ran out the door and seriously thinks he's a bad ass still? Hahaha…

"Here's how Chris Barnes works: punches. Runs. Does the Rocky dance like he's a badass on his tour bus he's about to not fuckin afford."

For his part, Barnes had the following to say via Twitter: "If you eat tofu you'll get you're ass kicked in a fight. #knocked out"

SIX FEET UNDER Tour with Wretched:

CATTLE DECAPITATION Premiere Shocking Music Video For "FORCED GENDER REASSIGNMENT" - Commentary By Travis Ryan Available!

Earlier this year, the veggie-gorging progressive grind masters CATTLE DECAPITATION released their NEW album 'Monolith Of Inhumanity' via Metal Blade Records. The 11-track long player is an achievement that stands out as one of the most volatile, ambitious, and impossible-to-pigeonhole records of 2012.

Today, the band has unleashed one of the goriest music clips we have ever seen! It is so gory, that it was a WARNING label! And get this, both YouTube and Vimeo's video platforms rejected the video! Thankfully, Bloody Digusting took the video for your visual pleasure.

“For the Forced Gender Reassignment video I wanted something mean and cruel and flat out disturbing. It seems nowadays you have to be over the top in your presentation to get anyone to think about anything anymore. The song is about taking certain religious sects and showing them what its like to be in another person’s shoes – someone whose life is simply different than theirs – but forcibly so, of course, or else it just wouldn’t be Cattle Decapitation. A band heavily steeped in irony, pessimism and fucking pain. There was no second choice – Mitch Massie was the only person for the job. He helped put our vision directly on the screen and we couldn’t be more happier and at the same time repulsed by the aftermath.” - Travis Ryan

WARNING: The video you are about to watch is incredibly gory, violent, and features strong sexual violence including rape and sexual assault. Bloody-Disgusting does not endorse or condone any of the actions seen in this video. It is to be viewed as entertainment only. Click HERE to watch the video!

CATTLE DECAPITATION's Tips Of Items To Bring/Not Bring On The Road! #SurvivalKit

CATTLE DECAPTATION's Josh Elmore knows a thing or two about the triumphs and struggles of surviving that hardships of the road as a Heavy Metal band. Since 2001, the guitarist has been laying down the grind with one of California's extreme Metal bands, playing every scummy club the group's booking agent throws their way. Throughout that time, the band has issued five full-lengths including the recently released 'Monolith Of Inhumanity' (available now via Metal Blade Records), an 11-song collection featuring some of their finest songwriting yet.

In celebration of the bands upcoming appearance on the first ever SHOCKWAVE Festival Tour (details below), Elmore has written up a list of five things you should always bring on tour, and five other things you probably, no, you definitely shouldn't. Check out the list below (courtesy of UltimateGuitar.com).

ALWAYS

1. Wipes - Let's see, you've been wearing the same pants for four days, you've eaten nothing but Taco Bell, Waffle House and Little Caesar's (or as some promoters call it; "catering") and sweating balls 95% of the time. They're no substitute for a shower, but they will take an edge off that tasty mélange of skid marks/balls/crotch funk you've acquired.

2. Gift Cards From Distant Relatives/Co-Workers - This one should be a no-brainer, but the savings those coffee shop gift cards amount to are pretty significant after a while. If you're like me and work in an office and/or have relatives you never see, then round about Christmas time or your birthday you should get a treasure trove of $10-$15 gift cards that will be an amazing resource when on the road. If anything, it's a break from truckstop coffee or the only opportunity to eat at a PePe Giuseppe.

3. A Second Pair Of Shoes - It will rain/snow/sleet/hail on the road. You'll have to load in/out in it. With no way to dry your only pair of shoes, you're pretty much guaranteed to get trench foot. The skin on your feet will always be moist and at best you'll get athlete's foot and at worst the pruny skin will get irritated and almost slough off. Go get a second pair of shoes. I know it's another item to take up space in your bag, but I think you can afford to leave a couple of the 50 black shirts you're bringing at home.

4. An Ability To Not Sleep, Like Ever... - If you are a support band and in a van whilst the headliner is in a bus, then prepare to learn how to survive on cat naps. A 12 hr. drive between shows matters not if you have a bunk to sleep in, but if you are in a captain's chair, trying to sleep on a bench or actually piloting the vehicle, the third night in a row of overnight drives tends to wear you down. Actually, the situation really doesn't matter. You will not sleep. Got a few short drives in a row? No problem. Any opportunity to sleep/bathe will be squandered because the short drive means that everyone will stay/be kept up until 5AM by partying and you'll manage to still be late for load-in after only needing to drive and hour and a half.

5. A Good Hoodie - The way. The truth. The light. You will live in this garment and it can and will be your everything.

NEVER

1. "Gift" Food - Although a well-meaning gesture by a friend/relative/tour tail is appreciated, the logistics of having any sort of food that is not prepackaged on a van tour is challenging at best. In the inevitability that you receive some homemade delights, it would be better to just cut to the chase and immediately mash the cookies/cake/lasagna into your van's carpet. Rejecting these types of thoughtful gifts is hard, but a good enough friend should be able to "get it".

Note: this still will not prevent mom from bringing you Fondue.

2. Lots Of Books - There's the one you've been a couple chapters into for the past month, the one you'll look cool reading and the one that you've always wanted to tackle but never got around to it. Get a Kindle or leave them at home. Odds are you will only get about half a chapter in on the current read and the rest of the tour you'll spend time yelling at your bandmates for stepping on them in the van or having to pack and repack your bag to make space for your library.

3. Anything Of Sentimental/Actual Value - Thinking of bringing a RealDoll or your copy of the Articles Of Confederation out on tour? Despite all logic opposing such a thing, there will be the guy that will inexplicably bring grandma's ashes, potted plants and a Faberge Egg on the road. Their fate will resemble that of the cookies in the first example. Expect the demise of these items to occur at the hands of your vocalist and be accompanied by the DUDE! F--K!! soundtrack.

4. "A Friend To Do Merch" - Guess who took the most comfortable spot in the van again? Guess who got the only bed at the house we're staying at? Guess who left the van unlocked? Guess who wants his crust punk friends to come along for a couple shows? Guess who took off to get laid and is now stranded at a rest stop an hour in the wrong direction? Guess who has weed on them at the border? Guess who gave away six hoodies to a bunch of old friends? Guess who threw up on your pillow? Guess who tried to convince us to let him bring his dog? Guess who was found sobbing under a table? Guess who is going home on Greyhound?

5. "The Significant Other" - Although the most glaringly obvious example, folks often need to be reminded of this one. A couple days is one thing, but "hey, my girl will totally do merch for that June tour. Cool?" is the death knell for tranquility. Pretty Polly may be the nicest gal in the world, but guess what? Any unnecessary dude/chick is just like any other excess baggage on the road; a liability. In essence, a boyfriend/girlfriend is another mouth to feed, another person to take a 1.5 hour shower (see merch dude/dudette) another person to bitch about everything and most importantly, the dictator of the (un)happiness of your bandmate. If the s/o is pissed that means your bandmate is pissed, which means everyone goes down with that ship. The worst case scenario is if two of your bandmates hookup. Having to witness the pukey cuteness and overhearing them getting the boot stuck in the mud in your hotel room is revolting. Also, unless they are Captain and Tennille, they will eventually break up, and your band very well could too...

CATTLE DECAPITATION's Travis Ryan: 'Monolith Of Inumanity', NEW Music Video, Touring & More!

Recently, the veggie-gorging progressive grind masters CATTLE DECAPITATION released their NEW album 'Monolith Of Inhumanity' via Metal Blade Records. The 11-track long player is an achievement that stands out as one of the most volatile, ambitious, and impossible-to-pigeonhole records of 2012.

Produced by Dave Otero of Denver's Flatline Audio, 'Monolith Of Inhumanity' sees the band investigating inventive NEW techniques in songwriting without abandoning their signature formula of confrontational audio wreckage. Conceptually, the record revolves around a potent distaste for contemporary civilization and the damage wrought in the name of progress.

We recently, had the chance to chat with the bands frontman about the production of the bands 7th Metal Blade Records release, the production of their NEW music video for "Kingdom Of Tyrants" and the bands touring plans in support of 'Monolith Of Inhumanity'. Here is our extensive interview with Travis Ryan! We hope you enjoy it.

The band will be joined by Fear Factory, Voivod, Misery Index, Revocation, Havok, Dirge Within, Last Chance To Reason, Vildhjarta, The Browning and Forged In Flame. CATTLE DECAPITATION's Travis Ryan: "Kids always ask me how I do my vocals and here it is... the vocals studio report for our NEW album 'Monolith of Inhumanity'"

Add captio
Today, CATTLE DECAPITATION wants to start you week with a kick in the teeth. Check out NEW in-studio video footage from the 'Monolith of Inhumanity' sessions -- specifically adventures in vocal tracking and additional CATTLE-related fun.

Comments vocalist Travis Ryan: ""Kids always ask me how I do my vocals and here it is... the vocals studio report for our NEW album 'Monolith of Inhumanity'. As you can see, polar bear pajama pants and a really stupid haircut really help me achieve those pitches needed to push the melodic high vocals over the top. You will also find there actually are no 'pirate' influences in the studio. Nor any ninjas, vampires, zombies or Chuck Norris paraphernalia in there either so sit down, shut up and smell the farts… there's at least two of 'em in there if you listen closely…"
