The Irving Plaza Thief Is FREE & Ready To Strike Again!

Last Summer, the individual pictured above thought it was a good to steal a camera, camera gear, cell phones, wallets, and other valuable items, during a Wendigo Productions LLC concert at Irving Plaza in New York City.

Once this occurred, the entire Heavy Music community in New York City joined forces in order to catch this scumbag. Thanks to the picture above and facial recognition software, he was eventually arrested by the NYPD.

Unfortunately he is now free and plans to strike again. He was spotted last night at Tammany Hall in New York City, standing close to the bands gear with a bagpack in hand. Thankfully, someone tipped off management, who quickly escorted him out without incident.

If you see this scumbag around, let management or security know that he is a thief or call the NYPD's 13th Precinct (212) 477-7444 (Detective Rodriguez).

NYC ROCKS Documentary Demonstrates What Unity Through Music Really Means!

Damian Kolidy, an active member of the New York Heavy Music scene, had the brilliant idea of creating a TV pilot entitled 'NYC ROCKS'. What started as a program that showcased the current state of the New York City Rock scene, ended up being a program showcasing the unity that still prevails within the local scene of the city that never stops rocking. Here is what Damian had to say about this very ambitious project.

"This project came about as a result of the noticeable lack of TV content geared towards the rock/metal/punk audience, a genre of music I find quite vital and interesting. I've always enjoyed all the rock music documentaries, but more often than not they are all looking towards a point in the past, of how things once were, and I thought why not do something that's contemporary and covers the current rock scene? A year later, we have the experimental pilot season of 'NYC ROCKS'." 

So how exactly did the project get twisted around? Well, as reported HERE some scumbag thought it would be OK to steal a bunch of valuables (including Damian's professional camera) during a Wendigo Productions concert at Irving Plaza in New York City. Little did he know that he declared "war" on the entire NYC Rock community. Did he get caught? Absolutely! Was the NYPD impressed at the ability of the "detective" work that the entire community did? Hellyeah! We all basically helped them find a scumbag that shall remain nameless. And regardless of what the courts decide to do to him, his punishment is already hurting him: no Rock concerts for him ever again in New York City! Ouch!

As previously reported, this past Saturday our good friends from Wendigo Productions LLC celebrated the 50th birthday of their founder Wendy at Irving Plaza in New York City. The event featured live performances from KILLCODE, STIGMA, SEX SLAVES, BETA PLUS EMBRYO, and many more.

Towards the end of the night while the SEX SLAVES were closing the show, the individual pictured above stole a bunch of camera gear and other valuable items. Here is a statement from the Wendigo team:

"He hung out all night in the VIP dressing room, making small talk with various people. He was casing. At some point during Reformed Whores/Sex Slaves set, he nabbed 2 purses (including cell phones, etc.) and $1000 video camera and various other items.

"He also used credit cards belonging to the Reformed Whores at the nearby CVS, Walgreens and McDonalds. We are waiting to hopefully get that cam footage too."

Panzie Discuss NEW Album 'Love & Blood', Occupy Wall Street & Musical Formula!

The ear drums of the world haven't found their safe haven ever since New York City Rock band Panzie, began delivering a blend of unique sounds that start grooving your soul from the get-go. Panzie recently released their first full length album entitled "Love & Blood", and the results have over-exceeded all expectations! Produced by Stacy O'Dell, the album possesses the raw energy that Panzie is famous for, along with an unorthodox musical style. In times in which too many bands lack a signature sound, it is refreshing to hear a record full of original and memorable musical passages. "Love & Blood" takes the listener through a musical joyride that is both bitter and sweet.

Right after they presented "Love & Blood" to the masses at Mercury Lounge in New York City through an excellent live performance, we kidnapped the band and interviewed them about their new album. "The Art Of Joey James" to be Showcased Tonight at Wendigo Productions!

New York City artist Joey James is presenting some of his works at his first solo exhibition. During the recent past, Joey has created artwork for Type O Negative, Biohazard, Life Of Agony, Duff's Brooklyn, and he is the creator of the Horns Up Rocks logo. Recently, Joey created the album cover for Otep's "Atavist".

The event will kickoff today (October 14th) at Wendigo Productions and it will feature Joey's original art work, as well as 8 NEW paintings that have never been seen before! Additionally, there will be posters, T-shirts and other great Joey James items. Joey will also be there to individually sign & dedicate anything purchased at the party!

Additionally, the first year anniversary of "Behind the Blue Door Gallery" will be celebrated tonight. Here are all the details you need.
