After the success of the first US Big 4 show, which featured the Kings of Thrash Metal: Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax, the Metallica team is already busy planning some future shows here in the US.
As we all know, the historical show took place this past weekend in Indio, California and it united over 50,000 headbangers. Everything went very smoothly, every band sounded amazing and everyone who was part of the Big 4 was revitalized from the amazing energy present at the event.
Right after the show Rolling Stone interviewed Metallica's Lars Ulrich, here is what he had to say about the Big 4 East Coast takeover:
“We are looking to book something on the East Coast because of the success of this — it should hopefully come together in a week or two. Maybe we’ll do some other shows in the Midwest and South, too. Still, I don’t think it will turn into a 40-date arena tour; that would make it less special. I like the fact that there’s an element of chaos to the whole thing. It shouldn’t be sterile, streamlined and perfect: it needs an edgy underbelly to remain authentic.”
This is indeed amazing news! Rest assured that we'll keep you posted with more details about future Big 4 shows.
