On September 4, the seventh annual "Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock and Metal" Revolver Magazine issue hits newsstands. According to The Pulse Of Radio, HALESTORM singer Lzzy Hale has been named the "Hottest Chick In Hard Rock"! Hale tops a list of 25 women that includes current tourmate and EVANESCENCE singer Amy Lee at No. 2 and "Gossip Girl" star Taylor Momsen at No. 3.
Hale says she's pleased to top the survey and gave us her perspective on it. "My view of it really is to make sure that you're good at what you do, and so that when people actually want to look beyond the centerfold [laughs, that you're actually good and you have something to back it up," she says. "I think that most of us are really trying to push the envelope and, you know, make sure that we're musicians first and that the sex is just kind of the icing on the cake."
Revolver magazine's Top 10 "Hottest Chicks In Hard Rock" are:
01. Lzzy Hale (HALESTORM)
02. Amy Lee (EVANESCENCE)
03. Taylor Momsen (PRETTY RECKLESS)
04. Ash Costello (NEW YEAR'S DAY)
05. Brooklyn (PICTURE ME BROKEN)

Heavy Music Demolishes the Billboard Charts with Releases by Charred Walls Of The Damned, Skeletonwitch, Five Finger Death Punch & Evanescence!
This week Heavy Music was very well represented on the Billboard Charts. Last week someone asked us if the Billboard Charts are still relevant? Absolutely! Why? Well, it not only helps Record Labels to see where there artists are standing compared to other similar artists/competitors, but it also helps bands to be placed on bigger and better tours. Here are the hard hitters in Heavy Music this week!
1) Evanescence's self-titled third major label album sold 127,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 1 on The Billboard 200 chart.
2) "American Capitalist", the third album from Las Vegas, Nevada-based Metallers Five Finger Death Punch, sold 91,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 3 on The Billboard 200 chart.
3) "Cold Winds On Timeless Days", the sophomore album from Charred Walls Of The Damned — the project led by acclaimed metal drummer Richard Christy (Iced Earth, Death, Leash Law, Control Denied, Burning Inside) — sold around 1,500 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at No. 14 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
4) "Forever Abomination", the new album from Athens, Ohio's Skeletonwitch, sold 3,300 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 153 on The Billboard 200 chart.
