Jamey Jasta is Streaming his Debut Solo Album "Jasta"!
Jamey Jasta released his debut record simply titled "Jasta" last week on July 26th, 2011 via eOne Music. A record many years in the making, and a very different project for Jasta. On this new musical adventure Jasta joined forces with various top notch Heavy Music musicians and presented to the masses his first solo album. When we first talked to Jasta about this new project, he made it very clear that it all came to life when he realized that he had written a ton of good songs that didn't fit with the sounds of Hatebreed and/or Kingdom Of Sorrow.

Jamey Jasta Explores a NEW Facet as a Musician with his Solo Album!
Hatebreed and Kingdom Of Sorrow front-man Jamey Jasta is never busy enough and is always searching for the next musical high. His latest adventure finds Jasta joining forces with various top notch Heavy Music musicians and presenting to the masses his debut solo album titled "Jasta". When we first talked to Jasta about this new project, he made it very clear that it all came to life when he realized that he had written a ton of good songs that didn't fit with the sounds of Hatebreed and/or Kingdom Of Sorrow.
While some may say that he is simply releasing a new project because of the money, we couldn't disagree more. The whole album is a very honest and diverse approach, and thanks to musicians like Zakk Wylde from Black Label Society, Randy Blythe and Mark Morton from Lamb Of God, the album features a potpourri of songs that showcase Jasta experimenting with different singing styles.
In times in which there is a lack of diversity within the Heavy Music world, it is refreshing to be able to listen to an album that takes the listener into various soundscapes right from beginning to the end. If you are a fan of Hatebreed or Kingdom Of Sorrow, listen to the album with an open mind as you will find Jasta not just screaming, but also harmonizing. With this new solo album Jamey Jasta is proving that he is always working on improving his musical craft, which is what makes him a force to be reckoned with.
Track listing:
01. Walk That Path Alone
02. Mourn The Illusion
03. Screams From The Sanctuary
04. Nothing They Say
05. Anthem Of The Freedom Fighter
06. Something You Should Know (Ft. Phil Labonte of All That Remains)

10. The Fearless Must Endure (Ft. Zakk Wylde of Black Label Society)
11. Heart Of A Warrior (Ft. Mike Vallely)
12. Death Bestowed (Ft. Mark Morton of Lamb Of God)
"It is a little something different for me and I hope you guys dig it. There are a lot of collaborations, a lot of clean vocals, and there are different styles of riffing. It is still heavy and aggressive. There is some screaming, but I tried some different things to change up the recipe a little bit."

Jasta debuts NEW song featuring Zakk Wylde
The birth of "Jasta" is a result of Jamey having so much music to share, that he decided to produce another project. Some may ask why the hell is he starting another project? Well, Jasta felt that with so many songs that he has created throughout the years that didn't make it into either Hatebreed or Kingdom of Sorrow, that it would dope for the fans to get some new material this summer. Jasta's new project will be released this summer via EONE Music and it will feature a bunch of special guests.
A diverse variety of guest appearances can be found on this record. Tim Lambesis (AS I LAY DYING), pro skater Mike Vallely, Philip Labonte (ALL THAT REMAINS), Randy Blythe and Mark Morton (LAMB OF GOD) and guitar god ZAKK WYLDE just to name a few.
Without further due here is "The Fearless Must Endure", featuring Jamey Jasta and Zakk Wylde:
