EXHUMED's New Album IS DONE; Tour With Napalm Death And Municipal Waste Starts Today!

West Coast death gore hooligans, EXHUMED, recently completed recording the follow-up to 2011’s 'All Guts, No Glory' full-length. The as-yet-untitled long player was recorded at Arcane Digital Recording in Chandler, Arizona with Ryan Butler (Misery Index, Landmine Marathon, Phobia). All drums were tracked at Trench Studios in Corona, California with John Haddad (Hirax, Abysmal Dawn, Intronaut). The unholy offering will be unleashed by Relapse Records sometime next year.

In the interim, the West Coast road burners, who recently returned from a short run of Japanese dates with Death Metal legends Cannibal Corpse, will embark upon a five-week North American Tour with Napalm Death and Municipal Waste. See all confirmed dates below.

EXHUMED 2012 features the smoldering lineup of vocalist/guitarist Matt Harvey alongside bassist Rob “Body Bag” Babcock, drummer Mike Hamilton and guitarist/vocalist Bud Burke, who played bass with the band from 1999 – 2004 and recently rejoined the legion for their live rituals on this year’s Summer Slaughter Tour.

CANNIBAL CORPSE Announces U.S. Tour With MISERY INDEX & HOUR OF PENANCE!

CANNIBAL CORPSE has announced that they will be embarking on their first US tour after having dominated stages as headliners of the Summer Slaughter Tour 2012. FEAR FACTORY Announce Tour Cancellation Due To Reasons Beyond Their Control!

Due to reasons well beyond the band’s control, FEAR FACTORY will not be taking part in this Summer’s "Shockwave Tour", slated to commence tomorrow (July 6) in Seattle.

Commented the band in a collective statement: "We are truly disappointed not to be part of the 'Shockwave Tour'. We send our sincerest apologies to all our North American fans planning to come out this Summer, but we will be back. Please look for FEAR FACTORY headlining dates in August."

Added Shockwave organizers: "It is with great disappointment that we have to make this announcement. With the recent departure of VOIVOD from the Shockwave festival lineup, as well as low advance ticket sales, we have decided to pull the plug on the Shockwave festival.

"For purchases made with a credit card, your card will automatically be refunded. All other refunds are available at point of purchase.

"We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused."

FEAR FACTORY recently unleashed their latest full-length, 'The Industrialist' via Candlelight Records. Commended by Revolver in a 4/5 review for offering up "the same pulsating, angry urgency of old… nicely counterbalanced by some incredibly deft melodies", called "…a well-orchestrated montage of universal agitation and despair", by Alarm, and crowned "…their most aggressive offering to date", by Exclaim, 'The Industrialist' is the second album written by vocalist Burton C. FEAR FACTORY, the last band standing from the lineup of the "Shockwave 2012" tour, has now dropped off from the tour. “We are truly disappointed not to be part of the Shockwave tour. We send our sincerest apologies to all our North American fans planning to come out this summer, but we will be back. Please look for FEAR FACTORY headline dates in August."

BREAKING NEWS: "Shockwave Festival" 2012 Cancelled!

Yesterday (July 3rd), Canadian Metallers VOIVOD confirmed that they dropped off the inaugural "Shockwave 2012" tour, which was scheduled to kick off on July 6 in Seattle, Washington. Here is a statement the band posted on their Facebook page:

"Shockwave tour is no longer as advertised. VOIVOD really wanted to be touring, but the situation was out of the band's control and the tour producers could not live up to the promises."

Following VOIVOD's decision to drop off from the tour were CATTLE DECAPITATION, MISERY INDEX and HAVOK. Which only leaves FEAR FACTORY on board (the rest of the bands on the bill had already dropped off). According to some reliable sources FEAR FACTORY have already been looking to jump on another tour.

While the organizers of "Shockwave Festival" haven't confirmed or denied the cancellation of the tour, without the bands there is no show. Stay tuned more more information!

Cannibal Corpse & Behemoth Announce "Full Of Hate 2012" European tour

To say that all the best shows happen in Europe, is an understatement! It was just announced that the mighty Cannibal Corpse will be joining forces with Behemoth, in what promises to be one of the best European tours of 2012. Joining the two legendary bands in their European mash up, will be Legion Of The Damned, Misery Index and Suicidal Angels.

All survivors of Neckbreaker's Ball and Hatefest will finally get a new chance to crush their heads: Full Of Hate, presented by tour-promoter Rock The Nation, is a spectacular upcoming festival-tour throughout Europe, successfully started in 2009 and coming up now with a new package of bestial hordes out of the international Death and Thrash Metal elite. Full Of Hate grants to be a pure killer package once again, giving fans of the most extreme metal genres what they need and what they truly deserve!

Suffocation Seeks NYC Band

The legendary Death Metal band Suffocation has been busy working on their seventh studio album, which is follow up to their most recent album titled "Blood Oath". While the fans wait with great anticipation, the band has decided to perform a very special show in New York City.

Their show in New York City will take place on May 15th at Santos Party House in New York City. Joining Suffocation will be Misery Index. And get this, the band is seeking for a local Extreme Metal band to open this show.

The band will also be performing at La Respuesta in Santurce, Puerto Rico. Believe it or not, the Heavy Music scene in Puerto Rico is very prevalent and we have no doubt that Suffocation will be welcomed with arms wide open, clenched fists and horns up!
