SIX FEET UNDER's Chris Barnes Interviewed By METAL BLADE's BADASS CEO Brian Slagel!

Today Metal Blade TV airs an exclusive interview with SIX FEET UNDER front man/Death Metal veteran Chris Barnes as conducted by Metal Blade CEO Brian Slagel. The clip comes in anticipation of the band's forthcoming NEW full-length, 'Undead'. With an updated lineup featuring Barnes alongside guitarist Rob Arnold (ex- Chimaira), longtime guitarist Steve Swanson (ex-Massacre), bassist Jeff Hughell (ex-Brain Drill, ex-Vile), and drummer Kevin Talley (Dying Fetus, Misery Index, Chimaira), 'Undead' finds the band revitalized and spewing forth some of their most uncompromising, provocative and plainly scathing tunes of their career. 'Undead' was produced by Mark Lewis (Deicide, Devildriver), mixed by Jason Suecof (Whitechapel, Job For A Cowboy), at Audio Hammer Studios in Sanford, Florida and is scheduled for North American release on May 22, 2012 through Metal Blade Records.

In conjunction with the release of 'Undead', SIX FEET UNDER will demolish the masses on a near three-week run of live rituals this June. Dubbed the "18 Nights Of Blood Tour", the journey will begin in Atlanta, Georgia on June 8. Support will be provided by Dying Fetus and Revocation. Comments Barnes: "We want to get out there and pretty much destroy. We want to play to as many people as possible, and show all of the fans out there the new songs, and leave nothing but a trail of blood in our wake. We're hoping that whoever makes body bags are upping their output, because after this record comes out there'll be a lot of decomposing bodies out there!

SIX FEET UNDER Premieres NEW Track Called "18 Days" - Listen Now!

Today Guitar World is hosting an exclusive premiere of “18 Days,” the second official single from Death Metal tyrants SIX FEET UNDER. The track comes off the band’s soon-to-be disengaged 'Undead' full-length scheduled for North American release on May 22, 2012 through Metal Blade Records. Offering up 12 tracks of uncompromising, sonic brutality, the record was produced by Mark Lewis (Deicide, Devildriver) and mixed by Jason Suecof (Whitechapel, Job For A Cowboy), at Audio Hammer Studios in Sanford, Florida.

Commented vocalist Chris Barnes: “Creating an album is a lot of work and a lot of focus, but we didn’t really have too many hiccups in the recording. It went really smooth, and it was pretty much the most effortless album we’ve ever tracked. I had a great, great time working on this album; it was so much fun because everything seemed so NEW again.”

Feast your ears on “18 Days” at THIS LOCATION.

Now featuring Barnes, possessor of one of the most dominating voices of the Death Metal genre, alongside guitarist Rob Arnold (ex- Chimaira), longtime guitarist Steve Swanson (ex-Massacre), bassist Jeff Hughell (ex-Brain Drill, ex-Vile), and drummer Kevin Talley (Dying Fetus, Misery Index, Chimaira), SIX FEET UNDER 2012 finds the band recharged and churning out some of the most severe, thought-provoking and downright horrific tunes of their epic discography.

In conjunction with the release of 'Undead', SIX FEET UNDER will embark upon a near three-week run of live rituals this June. Dubbed the "18 Nights Of Blood Tour", the beatings will begin in Atlanta, Georgia on June 8 and ravage its way across the country before coming to a close on June 29 in Tampa, Florida. Support will be provided by Dying Fetus and Revocation. A list of tour dates can be seen below.

SIX FEET UNDER Unveil First Single, Cover Art & Track Listing For 'Undead'!

Legendary Death Metal legion SIX FEET UNDER today unveil the first single from forthcoming studio offering, 'Undead'. Slated for North American release on May 22, 2012 through Metal Blade Records, the 12-track recording was produced by Mark Lewis (Deicide, Devildriver) and mixed by Jason Suecof (Whitechapel, Job For A Cowboy), at Audio Hammer Studios in Sanford, Florida.

Led by the inimitable Chris Barnes, possessor of one of the most dominant and instantly recognizable voices of the Death Metal genre, 'Undead' offers up an overhauled lineup. Now featuring Barnes alongside NEW guitarist Rob Arnold (ex- Chimaira), longtime guitarist Steve Swanson, NEW bassist Jeff Hughell, and drummer Kevin Talley, whose history blasting for Dying Fetus, Misery Index, and Chimaira speaks for itself, SIX FEET UNDER 2012 finds the band reinvigorated and churning out some of the most visceral, in-your-face, and downright horrifying tunes in their renowned discography of brutality both, lyrically and musically.

Comments vocalist/Death Metal ambassador Chris Barnes of the recording: "I'm in pretty much the best headspace I've been in since myself and [former guitarist] Allen West started this band in 1993. I'm super excited about the new record. It's a rejuvenation; it's a rebirth of SIX FEET UNDER, and fans will definitely latch on to my excitement and how focused I am in the lyrics I've written… The hypocrisies of daily life, things that affect us that spawn aggression, loneliness, sadness, there's a lot of emotions going on across the record, and I guess that the dark horror that humans cause is my niche."

'Undead' Track Listing:

01. Frozen At the Moment of Death
02. Formaldehyde
03. 18 Days
04. Molest Dead
05. Blood On My Hands
06. Missing Victims
07. Reckless
08. Near Death Experience
09. The Scar
10. Delayed Combustion Device
11. Vampire Apocalypse
12. The Depths of Depravity

In conjunction with the release of Undead, SIX FEET UNDER will embark upon a near three-week run of live rituals this June. Dubbed the 18 Nights Of Blood Tour, the beatings will begin in Atlanta, Georgia on June 8 and ravage its way across the country before coming to a close on June 29 in Tampa, Florida.
