MEGADETH's NEW studio album entitled 'Super Collider' will be released next Tuesday, June 4th via Universal Music Group with Mustaine's NEW label, Tradecraft. The recording sessions took place at Vic's Garage studio in San Marcos, California. 'Super Collider' is the follow up to 2011's 'THIRT3EN' (available now via Roadrunner Records). The bands 14th studio album is being produced by Johnny K and the band.

These historic concerts will begin with a first-ever visit (for MAIDEN) to Raleigh, NC, for the opening show on September 3rd at the Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion followed by taking Metal back to country music capital Nashville, TN where Maiden haven’t played in over twenty years, at the Bridgestone Arena on September 5th. There will also be shows in Kansas City, MO, Sprint Center on September 7th, St Louis, MO, Verizon Wireless on September 8th and the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, NV on September 12th, all of which Maiden last visited way back in 2000 on the Brave New World Tour. Plus a return to Austin, TX for a show at the 360 Amphitheater on September 10th.

Dave Mustaine Claims That Roadrunner Records Mistreated MEGADETH

MEGADETH's 'Super Collider' will be released on June 4th via Universal Music Group (not Roadrunner Records) with Mustaine's NEW label, Tradecraft. During a recent interview with Vlad Busca in Romania, Mustaine talked about some of the issues he had with his former label home.

"I remember I was in Germany one time and this woman, who was from our label, was calling another band that was coming in 'product.' Not people, not the name of the band or anything like that. And I thought, 'Wow, that's really kind of impersonal.' 'Cause, I mean, this is our art, this is what we believe in; we struggle to translate our feelings and emotions into music and stuff. And sometimes you kind of get lost in the business part of it, because you have so much pressure from someone who works for a label. It's like: sell, sell, sell, sell. Instead of how it used to be 30 years ago when music business was all one word. Now it's, like, music, which is us, and business, which is a lot of the people who are board members and stockholders and publicly traded record companies."

He added: "That's what I one of the things I love about Universal is, they spent more money on our first photo shoot than almost all the videos that Roadrunner did. One photo shoot! Our last video we did for Roadrunner was one sixth of the money that they spent on our photo shoot. It just shows you how out of place we were there. At the time, though, you figure going back several years, heavy metal was not popular in America. It was about, you've gotta be Tayor Swift or you've gotta… First off, we were never really in this to be the most popular band in the world. We play this music, 'cause we love this music."

MEGADETH Film Video For "Super Collider" With Hunter Elizabeth - Details Available!

This passed Friday, May 10, MEGADETH filmed a video for the title track and first single from the band's NEW album 'Super Collider', in the Los Angeles area. California-based model, actress, singer and songwriter Hunter Elizabeth (pictured above) was cast in the lead role in the clip, which she says is "about a high-school couple still loving each other after all the years after graduation, and at the 10-year reunion, both characters find themselves successful (a model and a mathematician) and still very in love."

CLUTCH Premiere First Lyric Video Ever For Their NEW Song "Earth Rocker"

The sold-out and extremely successful European leg of the Earth Rocker world tour is coming to a close. A recent review from Metal Hammer UK from their gig at KOKO can be viewed HERE.

CLUTCH's first ever lyric video for the song "Earth Rocker" is in and can be viewed below. The video was created by Ramon Boutviseth and his team at Studio RB Films.



CLUTCH's NEW album 'Earth Rocker' is available for pre-order exclusively at www.clutchmerch.com. Fans can pre-order the record individually or partake in the special fan-friendly bundle packages that are being offered. WEATHERMAKER MUSIC has confirmed a March 19, 2013 North American release date for the CLUTCH 'Earth Rocker' CD and Vinyl.

  CLUTCH first leg of the "Earth Rocker North American tour", begins on March 8th in Cincinnati, OH and runs through April 20th in Baltimore, MD. Support on the tour will come from Orange Goblin, Lionize and Kyng. The shows from March 8th through March 24th are on sale now, and the newly announced dates are set to go on sale for fan club members Tuesday January 22nd HERE. Tickets will go on sale for the general public on Friday January 25th and Saturday January 26th.

The art was created by Nick Lakiotes, long time CLUTCH art director, who has worked on previous efforts including: 'Robot Hive/Exodus' and 'Strange Cousins From the West'. Listen To A NEW SEVENDUST Song Called "Decay"!

As previously reported, March 26, 2013 is going to be a very good day for SEVENDUST fans. That day brings the highly anticipated release of the band’s brand NEW album, their ninth studio effort, 'BLACK OUT THE SUN', on their 7Bros. Records label (through Warner Music Group's Independent Label Group). The first single, “Decay,” will be released to radio and available for download at online retail outlets January 22, 2013.
