Former KITTIE Bassist To Appear On NEW Season Of "Big Brother" Starting Tonight!

Tonight, the NEW season of Big Brother premieres on CBS at 9 PM Eastern. And guess what? Former KITTIE bassist Jennifer "JennCity" Arroyo will be representing the Heavy Music community. JennCity, as per her biography, is a sassy Puerto Rican/New Yorker (via Washington, D.C) and vocalist/bassist/DJ/host/writer that started touring when she was 14 years old and has been touring the world since.

When asked what she would do if she won the Big Brother reality contest, Arroyo commented that she would "head right back into the studio and record a full length album and then head out on the road with my band and tour. Start a music program to help underprivileged kids stay focused. Music has saved my life and I want to give back to what has been so good to me."

Extreme Metallers THE AGONIST will finally be unleashing their long-awaited third studio album, 'Prisoners', on June 4th in Europe and June 5th in North America via Century Media Records! In regards to the album artwork, front-woman Alissa White-Gluz comments: "We wanted to really include a chaotic visual to reflect the chaotic sound of the band, but we also wanted to show that the lyrics on this album are a lot more introverted... The human face was left non-descript on purpose-- it doesn't belong to any particular person, but we could call him the Lonely Solipsist."

After spending many months in the studio, melodic Death Metallers THE AGONIST have finally finished their long-awaited third studio album, 'Prisoners'. Canadian Heavy Music band Kittie are ready to release their sixth studio album titled "I've Failed You" tomorrow (August 30th, 2011 via eOne Music)! In order to celebrate their new album, the band decided to host their Official CD Release show tomorrow at the Highline Ballroom in New York City at the No Mercy Metal Showcase

What do Lita Ford, Max Cavalera (Soulfly & Cavalera Conspiracy), Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society), Alex Skolnick (Testament), Scott Ian (Anthrax), Andrew W.K., Mark Morton (Lamb Of God) and Johnny Kelly (Type O -) have in common? Yes, they are all part of famous Heavy Music bands. But we bet you had no idea that they know some pretty killer food recipes. How do we know? Well, they are all featured on a brand new book called "Mosh Potatoes" by Steve Seabury.

One thing that we all have in common, no matter where we come from or what music we like, is that we all love food. Specially during the holidays.
