Tommy Lee is currently on the road with his band MÖTLEY CRÜE in Australia. After claiming last year that he "hates taking pictures" (read more HERE), Lee has announced that he will also not be participating in the band's paid meet-and-greet sessions because he
"doesn't agree with doing it under certain circumstances." To this he added:
"For those of you that are asking why I am not doing anymore
meet-and-greets!! It's got nothing to do with me not wanting to meet the
fans, I just don't agree with doing it under the certain given
circumstances. I love you all and I'll gladly high-five y'all if I see
you out 'n' about — and you won't have to pay me for that." While one could argue that the fans should not have to pay to meet their heroes, Lee should suck it up and do the meet-and-greets so the fans are not disappointed by his absence. If anything, he can refuse to get his cut for what the band receives monetarily after each meet-and-greet session. But now since he is not showing up, the fans should get part of the money refunded!

As previously reported, Samson, Zoom and Hartke are bringing you the fourth edition of the Metal Masters Clinic. This unique all-star event, will take place on Friday, September 7th at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City. The event is sold out!
The most recent event, the Metal Masters Clinic 3, took place on April 12, 2012 at the Key Club in Los Angeles, California, a day after the Revolver Golden Gods Awards. Present at the event were: Philip Anselmo (Down, ex-Pantera), Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath), Kerry King and Dave Lombardo (Slayer), plus members of Anthrax, Megadeth and more. Here is what went down at this historic event!
Prior to Metal Masters 4, three of the leading gear/technology companies for both musicians and consumers alike are partnering up with Guitar Center for an in-store appearance unlike any other. The “Metal Masters” will be making a stop at Guitar Center in Union Square (25 West 14th Street) on September 6th, a day before their sold-out clinic at the Gramercy Theatre. The signing will take place from 1:00PM – 3:00PM and will be comprised of Philip Anselmo (Pantera/Down), Kerry King (Slayer), Dave Lombardo (Slayer), Scott Ian (Anthrax), Charlie Benante (Anthrax), Frank Bello (Anthrax) and newly added masters Billy Sheehan and Gary Holt (Exodus/Slayer). There is a limit of one item signed per customer. There will be discounts on all Samson/Hartke/Zoom products and anyone who purchases one of their products will get moved to the front of the line. The Guitar Center in-store promises to be an event not to be missed.
Metal Masters 4 will take place in New York City on September 7th at The Gramercy Theatre. Doors will open at 7:00PM with the clinic starting at 8:00PM. Metal Masters 4 is bringing back some of the classic “Metal Masters” while adding a few new members to the list. As always, fans can expect some surprise appearances and unforgettable performances. Even though the show is sold out, the clinic will be broadcast live via UStream and the link will be sent out in the coming weeks so fans around the globe can experience Metal Masters 4.
In case you didn't know, TESTAMENT will be releasing a NEW album entitled 'Dark Roots of Earth' on July 27, 2012 (Europe) and July 31, 2012 (North America) via Nuclear Blast Records. The album was produced, mixed and mastered once again by the world renowned Andy Sneap (ARCH ENEMY, NEVERMORE, ACCEPT, EXODUS). Special bonus tracks were recorded, mixed and mastered by Juan Urteaga (CATTLE DECAPITATION, HEATHEN, VILE, SADUS) at his Trident Studios. The highly anticipated follow up to their 2008 release 'The Formation of Damnation' is without a doubt one of the most highly anticipated albums of the year.

Lamb Of God today announces the confirmed shows for the European leg of the 'Resolution' tour. The tour encompasses all of the major European festivals as well as a number of headline theater and club plays. The tour kicks off with the band’s return visits to India and Israel, which were two highlights on the 2009/2010 'Wrath' tour. On their first visit to India, the band played to a crowd of 7,000 people and appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone India. The show in Israel gave the band an opportunity to see a country that not many Metal bands have had a chance to play. The complete schedule of shows is below.
'Resolution', Lamb Of God's NEW album, will be available tomorrow (January 24) worldwide. Lamb Of God commenced yesterday their two year 'Resolution' tour in their hometown of Richmond, VA. Due to the overwhelming response to the lyric-based video released in December, Lamb of God have created a second video for the debut single "Ghost Walking" from their NEW album 'Resolution', which will be released Tuesday, January 24th. The clip is fully animated and was created by animation company Moreframes Animation.

"Resolution" is the name of the NEW Lamb Of God album, and the headbangers of the world can pick it up on January 24th, 2012. "Resolution", the follow up to their Grammy nominated album "Wrath". "Resolution", produced by Josh Wilbur, will feature 14 songs and will come in a deluxe softpak with artwork by longtime art director Ken Adams. The album was recorded in various studios in Virginia and New York.
Last week, LiveNation announced that Lamb Of God will be hosting their record release show in New York City's Irving Plaza on Tuesday, January 24th, 2012. The Acacia Strain will support. Tickets go on pre-sale on November 17th at 10AM. Tickets will be released to the general public on November 18th at 10AM. Age restriction is 16+ unless accompanied by an adult.
