VITAL REMAINS Fire Singer - Statement From NEW Singer Available!

VITAL REMAINS are no strangers to necessary lineup changes, and they always make sure that the show goes on with a group of musicians that truly represent the bands legendary sound. Recently, singer Scott Wily allegedly "turned his back on the band". Here is a statement from the bands NEW singer Brian Werner:

"For all Vital fans, I want it to be known that Scott Wily is no longer a part of Vital Remains. He turned his back on the band on the Destruction tour hence my current position with the band, leaving us without so much as a word mid tour. He has recently been posting that he is still in the band and working on NEW material and that is not true, so please disregard any comments made by Scott concerning his being with the band and any further involvement he thinks he will have with VR, as there will be none. All band updates and such will be posted by either Tony Lazaro or the Vital Remains Official FB page (line below). We at VR thank all of our loyal fans for their endless support. Come see us on our upcoming tour with Kataklysm starting at the end of the month."

BATTLECROSS Releases "Occupation Domination" Tour Update & "Trespass America Festival" Preview Video!

Detroit, Michigan thrashers BATTLECROSS are currently making waves across the United States as the next big thing in Heavy Metal while touring with the "Occupation Domination" tour.  BATTLECROSS will continue to slay the states with Origin, Cattle Decapitation, Decrepit Birth, Aborted, and Rings of Saturn through the tour’s close in Lawrence, KS on May 18. Earlier this week in California, the band filmed a video tour update and TRESPASS AMERICA Festival preview message, watch it below!

The TRESPASS AMERICA festival is a newly minted music festival set on revitalizing the Metal scene with some of the most current and credible bands in hard Rock/Metal. Co-produced with Metal Hammer, the biggest Metal magazine in the U.K., the tour kicks off July 13 at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, CO, and will cover 31 cities in two months between July and August across the United States. BATTLECROSS will be joined by headliners Five Finger Death Punch, as well as the reunited original line-up of Killswitch Engage. The TRESPASS AMERICA Festival also features Trivium, Emmure, Pop Evil, and God Forbid. Tickets are on sale now; see the link below.

BATTLECROSS has come a long way since their recent signing with Metal Blade Records and their release of their debut 'Pursuit of Honor' in August 2011. Since its release, the single "Push Pull Destroy" was the #1 Most Requested Metal Track for five weeks (Sirius XM Liquid Metal Devil's Dozen), remains a stable on the Liquid Metal channel, and the track's video has racked up over 700,000 YouTube views in the last five months. BATTLECROSS has received killer reviews across the internet and in print publications throughout North America and overseas and was named “Band of the Month” in Metal Hammer Norway and Metal Hammer Spain, so it should be no surprise that this blue collar, hard-work ethic that comes from the band's five musicians - Kyle "Gumby" Gunther (vocals), Tony Asta & Hiran Deraniyagala (guitars), Mike Kreger (drums), Don Slater (bass) - translates into a potent force on record as well as on stage. BATTLECROSS is also confirmed to sail the seas with the first annual MAYHEM FESTIVAL Cruise this December 7-10.

CATTLE DECAPITATION Release Second Single "Lifestalker" Via Metal Hammer Germany!

Today California progressive grind conquerors CATTLE DECAPITATION release "Lifestalker", the second single of their NEW album 'Monolith Of Inhumanity'!

Set for release on May, 8th, 2012, the record was produced by Dave Otero of Denver's Flatline Audio and sees the band exploring innovative NEW techniques in song writing without abandoning their signature formula of confrontational audio wreckage and self-loathing lyrical content.

Vocalist Travis Ryan adds: "We just returned from a great European tour where we played a ton of NEW songs which were received extremely well by everyone over there! So much so that we decided to premiere the second sample track of our NEW album 'Monolith of Inhumanity' on a European website for all our fans and the NEW fans we just made during this last tour! We had a blast and we hope you all get a kick out of the NEW track "Lifestalker". This NEW album is light years ahead of the rest of our albums and we look forward to coming back to Europe to decapitate you all with it!"

Check out Lifestalker at THIS LOCATION.

'Monolith Of Inhumanity' is an achievement that stands out as one of the most volatile, ambitious, and impossible to aptly categorize records you will hear in 2012. Dragging their ever-evolving deathgrind sound kicking and screaming into the epic territory inhabited by the likes of Dimmu Borgir and Anaal Nathrakh, the quartet redefine all perceptions of what CATTLE DECAPITATION is. With their seventh full-length, the band have never sounded more focused, aggressive, or manically determined to get in the faces of those who erroneously believe they've already experienced the band at their extreme best.

The 11-track 'Monolith Of Inhumanity' features a host of guests including Mike Majewski of Devourment (guest vocals on "Projectile Ovulation"), Lenard Leal of Cephalic Carnage (backing vocals by on "A Living, Breathing Piece of Defecating Meat"), The Cephalic Carnage Community Men's Choir, consisting of all current Cephalic members and alumni Jawsh Mullen and Zac Joe (gang choir vocals on "The Carbon Stampede"), and ambient and noise interludes by Los Angeles' most extreme decimator of sound, John Wiese, as well as another strikingly brutal cover by Wes Benscoter.

Watch CATTLE DECAPITATION's First In-Studio Video Right Now!

Today California progressive grind conquerors CATTLE DECAPITATION reveal the first of three in-studio video segments from their 'Monolith Of Inhumanity' recording sessions. Set for North American release on May 8, 2012, the record was produced by Dave Otero of Denver's Flatline Audio and sees the band exploring innovative NEW techniques in song writing without abandoning their signature formula of confrontational audio wreckage and self-loathing lyrical content.

Check out Dave McGraw’s drum demolition and behind-the-scenes studio footage as well as first single “A Living, Breathing Piece Of Defecating Meat," right here.

With their seventh full-length, the band have never sounded more focused, aggressive, or manically determined to get in the faces of those who erroneously believe they’ve already experienced the band at their extreme best.

In addition, CATTLE DECAPITATION collaborated with famed pop culture artist Tom Bunk, best known for his work for the 1980s Garbage Pail Kids trading cards and MAD Magazine, for a very special art project. Bunk was gracious enough to create individual pieces of art for each member of the band, heavily influenced by and practically just as they appeared in the Garbage Pail Kids series of the ‘80s! A GPK-inspired CATTLE DECAPITATION trading card set and T-shirts are included with special limited pre-order packages and collector’s bundles. More info available HERE.

CATTLE DECAPITATIONrecently returned from the successful Reborn of Death European Tour with Suffocation, Blood Red Throne, Cerebral Bore, Adimiron, Sadist and Ulvedharr and will take a short break before heading out on the Occupation Domination 2012 with Origin, Decrepit Birth, Aborted, Rings Of Saturn, Battlecross and more!

CATTLE DECAPITATION Announce NEW Album Title & Reveal Cover Artwork

As previously reported, Cattle Decapitation have wrapped up recording their seventh studio album! Entitled 'Monolith Of Humanity', the album was produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Dave Otero of Denver's Flatline Audio. The humans of earth can expect a much more updated production, complete with some surprising guest appearances and the kind of musical exploration that garnered the band droves of NEW fans with 2009's 'The Harvest Floor'. Once again, Cattle Decapitation gives us more extravagantly intense artwork from artist Wes Benscoter and the CD/LP layout are as over the top as the album's concept itself.

'Monolith Of Humanity' will be released on May 8 (one day earlier internationally) via Metal Blade Records!

Some of the track titles on the NEW album include: Forced Gender Reassignment, A Living, Breathing Piece of Defecating Meat, and The Carbon Stampede. More details will be revealed in the coming months.

Check out this NEW song to get a taste of 'Monolith Of Humanity':

Cattle Decapitation is also pleased to announce their participation in the "Occupation Domination 2012 US Tour" with Origin. Vocalist Travis Ryan has posted the following update: "We're fresh out of the recording studio and are very much looking forward to dissecting the auditory canals of all who bear witness to our set on the upcoming US tour with our friends Origin! We're hitting up some areas that we haven't in a while and those who we are missing this time, not to worry… you will be seeing us back out on the road over the coming months as we support our upcoming album. We will also be focusing a lot on international touring on this NEW album, which will keep us away from the states for a bit, so we urge our USA fans who want to see us to be sure to mark when we're coming through their town on their calendars. We are very excited to show the world our NEW material and are looking forward to sharing information regarding our NEW album in the coming month! Stay tuned… stay GORE!"

Death Metal Paradise/Hell at the Hate Eternal, Origin, Vital Remains & Abysmal Dawn show in New York City!

This past Sunday (July 10), Death Metal titans Hate Eternal were joined by the mighty Origin, Vital Remains and Abysmal Dawn, for one of the best Death Metal shows that has ever taken place at Santos Party House in New York City. From the moment we arrived and heard Hate Eternal's sound-check, we knew that it was going to be a great night full of headbanging, cold beers, crowd-surfing, windmilling, and lots of mosh-pitting! This show once again is proof that the New York City Heavy Music scene is RISING!

From the moment the show started with Abysmal Dawn from Los Angeles, California, the crowd lost their minds, and some even lost their shoes!

After the crowd had a chance to catch their breaths, drink a cold beer, and smoke a stoge... Vital Remains from Providence, Rhode Island, took center stage and made Santos Party House rock like a hurricane!

Then it was time for Origin from Topeca, Kansas, to tear up the entire place! During their entire set crowd-surfers from all ages and races, surfed over and over again on top of a sea of people! To say that Origin warmed the crowd up for Hate Eternal is an understatement!

Without losing any time, Hate Eternal from St. Petersburg, Florida, stepped on stage with the arduous task of following a ferocious set by Origin. Lead by Erik Rutan, Hate Eternal always fly the Death Metal flag with full power and might! The adrenalized crowd growled Rutan's lyrics with so much passion, that right after the show was over Rutan says to us: "Holy shit! This is the best show of the tour! I just want to end the tour now, because it wont get any better than this!" We have an exclusive interview with Erik Rutan coming very soon, so stay tuned!
