As previously reported, KORN have begun recording their 11th studio album, the follow up to 2011's 'The Path Of Totality'. This marks the first time that "Head" jams with KORN in since he left the band in 2004. "Head" left KORN in 2005 to become a born-again Christian after years of hard drug and alcohol abuse while in the band.

Recently, Berkley, California's KORN kicked off their 2013 U.S. tour at the Rostraver Ice Garden in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania. All who attended the tours kick off concert, witnessed KORN history in the making as Brian "Head" Welch performed with the band for the first time in 8 years. Video available HERE!

Brian "Head" Welch Discusses KORN's Future + LOVE AND DEATH!

On February 19, KORN posted a NEW group shot that includes Brian "Head" Welch as a member of the band (peep it HERE). The whole reuniting of the band begun last summer, when former guitarist Brian "Head" Welch joined the band at the Carolina Rebellion festival at the legendary Rockingham Speedway in Rockingham, North Carolina to perform the bands classic hit song "Blind".

Welch left KORN in 2005 to become a born-again Christian after years of hard drug and alcohol abuse while in the band. Although Welch has a NEW band called LOVE AND DEATH, "Head" is happy with his current relationship with the members of KORN. Loudwire recently chatted with "Head" about LOVE AND DEATH, and about his future in KORN. Check it out:



"Head" is scheduled to join the band at a number of shows this spring/summer; including the “Rock On The Range” festival in Columbus, Ohio in May (more info HERE). "Head" will also be part of next year's edition of the Rock am Ring and Rock im Park festivals, set to take place June 7-9, 2013 in the German towns of Nürburgring and Nürnberg, respectively.

Welch left KORN in 2005 to become a born-again Christian after years of hard drug and alcohol abuse while in the band. Although Welch has a NEW band called LOVE AND DEATH, both he and KORN bassist Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu said that a reunion could be possible one day under the right conditions.

Until yesterday (February 19), the big question was whither or not "Head" will return to the band full time. According to the bands NEW group shot (see above), "Head" is back in the band! It is well known within the music industry that bands only update their group shots when they have a NEW lineup or when they are entering a NEW album cycle.

During a recent interview with Rollingstone.com, "Head" was asked about the possibility of the U.S. getting a full Korn tour with himself in tow. To that he replied: “We’re going slow. We’re hanging out when I’ve got time, but I’ve got my album out, and they’re busy doing their stuff. But I’d say anything is possible right now.”

"Head" is scheduled to join the band at a number of shows this spring/summer; including the “Rock On The Range” festival in Columbus, Ohio in May (more info HERE). DRAMA ALERT: Marilyn Manson Lashes Out At Rob Zombie - Rob Zombie Makes Public Statement & We Have It!

Last night, Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie certainly didn't play nice with each other at the DTE Energy Music Theater, in Detroit, Michigan (the ninth stop of a 36-city "Twins of Evil Tour.")

Manson and Zombie appear to have a serious beef with each other after Manson accused his fellow co-headliner of cutting his set short. Rob Zombie has reacted with the following statement:

"As stupid as this all is, I feel I must clear things up a little better. First off, I want to thank all the fans who came out in the freezing cold in Detroit last night. It was a total blast as always.

"Unfortunately things turned ugly backstage. Why? I don't know, but for some reason our touring partner (Marilyn Manson) decided to end his set by blaming me for something that I had nothing to do with and screaming he was going to "kick Rob Zombie's ass as soon as he got off stage".

"Go figure. I was backstage hanging, watching the show thinking "hey this is gonna be a great night", when suddenly he starts screaming threats. So strange. I don't get it. Christ, I've known some of his crew for 20 fucking years and some of his crew used to work for me. It's all good. No one would fuck with someone's show. It is ridiculous.

"Well, of course I felt the need to respond to the " kick my ass remark". Who wouldn't? Although I wish I had kept it backstage and kept the fans out of it. It is all 4rd grade fight after school nonsense of which I have never dealt with on tour before. Co-headlining tours always go smooth because everything is cut 50/50 and I mean everything. No one fucks with anyone's show. It is even fucking Steven.

"I've done it co-headlining tours many times before and have had no troubles. Not with Pantera, Slayer, Alice Cooper, Korn, Megadeth or anyone ever. So I didn't expect any troubles on this. It seemed like a great idea at the time.

"But shit happens. Anyway, sorry to the fans who had to dealt with the embarrassing stupidity of it all. We are all there for the same reasons to give you the best show ever… that's it."

Rob Zombie + Marilyn Manson Announce 2012 "Twins of Evil" Tour; KORN's Jonathan Davis To Join Them!

It had to happen. Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie are hitting the road together this fall, co-headlining the "Twins of Evil" tour.  Debauchery, theatrics, ghoulish imagery, and a full-on assault of all the senses are what's in store for fans when the tour kicks off, first in the U.S. and then with a 10-country sweep through Europe.

Kicking off September 28 when both Zombie and Manson co-headline the first day of the Desert Uprising Festival in Phoenix, Arizona, expect defiant rock'n'roll showmanship in the form of these unholy rollers with the first U.S. date wrapping in Dallas on Halloween, October 31.

"Finally!  Why did the most obvious tour take so long to happen? Who knows? Who cares? It's happening now," stated Zombie. "If good taste is the chief enemy of great art, then we should be able to fill the Louvre with this f***ing tour.  Be prepared for something wicked this way a-coming."

"I have sympathy for the Whore of Babylon that gave birth to these twins of evil, and this abomination of a tour," says Marilyn Manson. "There is no babysitter, and there is no repairing her womb. If Rob Zombie doesn't f*** you up, than I surely will.  Hide all drugs and firearms...I'm coming to town."

J Devil, the DJ alter ego of KoRn's frontman Jonathan Davis, will support the Manson/Zombie dates with his chaotic electro-metal. "I like to think of J Devil as the 'anti-christ' of EDM," he said. "To play alongside Zombie and Manson is going to be a f***ing sinister night all around, and an unbelievable theatrical experience. I can't wait."

Marilyn Manson's eighth full-length album Born Villain debuted in the Top 10 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart, also grabbing the #1 spots on both the Heavy Album Chart and the Independent Album Chart. "This is Manson at his best," says ARTISTdirect. "Elegantly, he slices throats and puts up a middle finger to everyone once more."

For the "Twins of Evil" tour, Zombie and his band of maniacs - John 5/guitar, Piggy D/bass and drummer Ginger Fish - will bring their elaborate, multi-media production, complete with hair-raising theatrics, animatronic robots, oversized LED screens, a non-stop collage of psychotronic monster film clips, a spectacular light show, a gigantic robot with flames shooting out of its body, pyrotechnics, insane guitar riffs and vicious beats.  On August 7, prior to the kick off of the "Twins of Evil" tour, Mondo Sex Head, an album featuring new and unique remixes of Rob Zombie classics by some of today's top DJs, including KoRn's Jonathan "J Devil" Davis, Photek, the Bloody Beetroots, Kraddy, Drumcorps, and Ki: Theory will be released (Universal Music Enterprises/UMe). KORN Performs With Former Guitarist Brian "Head" Welch For The First Time In 7 Years - Video Available!

 This past Saturday, May 5, groundbreaking musical act KORN, were rejoined by former guitarist Brian "Head" Welch at the Carolina Rebellion festival at the legendary Rockingham Speedway in Rockingham, North Carolina to perform the bands classic hit song "Blind". This is what "Head" had to say about what it was like to reunite with his former band-mates: 

"It was so amazing Saturday night playin' with KORN. Reconciling with family is always good. So much love on stage and from KORN fans. Many tears shed. God is love."

Welch left KORN in 2005 to become a born-again Christian after years of hard drug and alcohol abuse while in the band. Although Welch has a NEW band called LOVE AND DEATH, both he and KORN bassist Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu have said that a reunion could be possible one day under the right conditions.

KORN's US Tour Kicks Off Tomorrow; Band Wins "Album of the Year' at Revolver Golden Gods Awards!

Earlier this month (Wednesday, April 11), KORN garnered one of the greatest accolades in Metal with winning the REVOLVER Golden God Award for “Album of the Year,” presented by Marshall Amplification, for 'The Path Of Totality' (Roadrunner).  The win, determined by fan generated votes, leads into the band’s third leg of their “Path of Totality” tour, launching this Friday, April 20 at Lonestar Amphitheater in Lubbock, TX. KORN released their NEW album 'The Path Of Totality' this past December where it debuted in the Top Ten on Billboard. The album has also been a fixture on Billboard’s Dance Electronic Albums chart, and has sold 500,000 digital singles from the album- a staggering amount for a Rock band.
