As previously reported, after completing his epic quadrology last year with the simultaneous release of 'Ghost' and 'Deconstruction', renowned multi-instrumentalist and producer Devin Townsend is ready to start the next chapter in the DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT's career with their NEW effort, 'Epicloud'. Released on September 18th in North America and September 24th in Europe, 'Epicloud' boasts 13 light-hearted, hook laden tracks featuring once again, guest vocal appearances by Anneke van Giersbergen. In celebration of his latest sonic potpourri, DTP just wrapped up an extensive North American tour with KATATONIA, PARADISE LOST and STOLEN BABIES. Prior to his stellar performance at New York City's Irving Plaza, Horns Up Rocks' own Zulie Alvarez sat down with Devin Townsend to discuss his latest album 'Epicloud', as well as his many musical projects. During the chat, Townsend revealed to us that he is once again collaborating with guitar god Steve Vai. He also discusses being a parent and how is not pushing music too hard on his kid. In regards to this upcoming trek, Devin Townsend comments: "So after a break in which we've managed to finish the live DVDs from the London shows ('By A Thread') as well as our surprisingly epic NEW record, 'Epicloud'... Renowned multi-instrumentalist Devin Townsend will be touring in support of DTP's forthcoming CD/DVD-set, By A Thread - Live in London 2011, due out June 19th (InsideOut Music)-- as well as the next chapter in DTP's career, Epicloud, set to be released on Sept 18th (InsideOut Music).

KATATONIA, the Swedish purveyors of dark Rock/Metal return with their 9th studio album, 'Dead End Kings', on August 28th (Peaceville Records). A continuation of 2009's inspired and acclaimed 'Night is the New Day', as well as a leap forward into the unknown, 'Dead End Kings' sees the quintet conjure yet another milestone in audial melancholy and angst.

After gracing the June cover of Decibel Magazine and recently releasing their 13th studio album, 'Tragic Idol' (Century Media), to critical acclaim, gothic/doom metallers PARADISE LOST will be coming back to the States for their first North American tour in five years! To celebrate the occasion, the band will also be reissuing six titles via The End Records on August 28th.

As previously announced, Gothic Metallers PARADISE LOST have teamed up with Decibel Magazine to give fans a gold-on-black flexi disc for the previously unreleased b-side "The Last Fallen Saviour"! This track will only be available exclusively to Decibel subscribers in the magazine's June issue (out in May), and it comes from the recording sessions of 'Tragic Idol', the band's forthcoming studio album that is set to be released through Century Media Records on April 24th in North America and April 23rd in Europe. PARADISE LOST Premiere Music Video For “Honesty In Death”!

Gothic metallers PARADISE LOST are well known for their intense videos from their two previous albums. "The Enemy" from the 2007 album 'In Requiem' was shot on the Crimea peninsula and caused some problems with TV companies due to the execution scenes. The video for the title track of 'Faith Divides Us, Death Unites Us' from 2009 was even more disturbing with its scenes of physical and emotional abuse. The brand NEW "Honesty In Death" video from the band's upcoming album, 'Tragic Idol', keeps this tradition. Watch the NEW video below.

Greg Mackintosh (guitar) comments: "We are very excited about the premiere of our 'Honesty In Death' video. In my opinion it is the best video we have ever done. Matt Green, who I had previously worked with on the VALLENFYRE 'Cathedrals of Dread' video, directed it. He did such a great job with VALLENFYRE that we knew he would be able to do something really special for PARADISE LOST. The result is a very powerful, but very grim short film with brief cameos by the band, that is sure to resonate with people who see it."
