As previously reported, Alexi Laiho was rushed to the Oslo hospital on the evening of Tuesday, July 3rd with extreme stomach pain. As a result, Children Of Bodom were forced to cancel their appearance at the Ruisrock festival.
Thankfully, Laiho is now fully recovered and in order to let his fans know this, he recorded the following video.
'The Industrialist', which is due in North America on June 5 via Candlelight Records, is a conceptual record based around a story written by vocalist Burton C. Bell. Lyrics to the album's ten songs divulge the narrative as discussed recently by Bell with Decibel magazine. The album's artwork was created by American designer Anthony Clarkson with additional direction from the band. The album will be available on three formats — standard CD, a limited edition deluxe digi-book (featuring two additional songs), and 180-gram double vinyl.
Here is a video clip that FEAR FACTORY's vocalist Burton C. Bell filmed in order to explain the concept behind 'The Industrialist':

"We regret to inform you all that due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be able to offer our new record "Reborn In Defiance" in the US at this time. We love all of you who have continued to support us through the years and can't wait to share with you a record that we are extremely proud of. Thank you so much for your understanding and patience and a special thanks to our partners Revolver, Repudo and Google for their hard work setting this up. All of our touring plans are still solidified and we are excited to see you all out on the road!"

So far Megadeth's NEW studio album has sold 42,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 11 on The Billboard 200 chart.
Metal Hammer asked Megadeth's front-man Dave Mustaine: Your latest album, "TH1RT3EN", has just hit the shelves. What can fans expect from that album?
Mustaine: I think fans are going to be able to expect a very exciting record. With David Ellefson [bass] coming back, it brought back the classic sound, but also with the progress that we made with Shawn Drover [drums] and Chris Broderick [guitar]. I think that it's a very heavy, modern sound, and then adding Johnny K [producer] to that with his production skills, this is the optimum record that we could've made right now. So I think that the fans are going to be very happy with this record.
Additionally, the band recently premiered the music video for the first single out of Th1rt3en for the song "Public Enemy No. 1". The comical video was shot in California, a few days after Megadeth performed at the Big Four Concert at Yankee Stadium. Oh, and it features a very badass monkey! Watch it now!
